I went down to jims shop on my 4 wheeler to tell him to get out that yellow 4 wheeler cause missy is coming over friday to go ride with me. jim has been wanting it rode. so jim got it out and he said lets ride the loops so i said ok you know i want to do that. i went first rode down the other way from taking you guys. get down the road and no jim had to turn around in the tall brush he said it kept running out of gas. so we finally got it back home and he working on it i came up to do my chores went to feed my cats and saw the royals winning 7-4!

Cal, our 4 wheel ride was so much fun! Everything there is so green and the sky is so pretty! Those power poles are really tall! How far did we ride? Thanks for the ride! Loved it!! Still watching Downton. Just a couple episodes left!

Brothers David and Allen.  Faith is their mother.

Well, Monday went all right for me.  The only bad result was the Marlins lost their 7th straight game and are playing their way out of any chance for the play offs.  Injuries have played a big part.  Poor pitching has not helped.

Now, I wish you all a great Tuesday.

Daily Updates
Quiet Day, Holly in her Den - UPDATE September 5, 2016
05 September 2016
Print Email
It was a quiet day. No shots heard with only a half hour of shooting time to go. The loudest sound was a red squirrel calling not far from the outdoor microphone.Lucky in the white pine

At the Bear Center, staff snapped pictures inside Holly?s den, which has a lumpy floor that some straw might help. Sharon said the entrance is 24 inches high by 24 inches wide. The den goes back 4 feet and is about 4 feet wide at its widest point. Will she stay with this den or join Lucky again?

I don?t know why Lucky is spending time up the white pine lately.

Tasha went near the den and peered over the rock by the entrance. Holly blew from inside. It?s too early to den up, but Holly is readying a den anyway.

Other bears have made dens as early as July. A video in the Cub Room shows June making a den on July 19, 2004?the den where she went on to give birth to George and Pete. George dispersed out of the study area as a yearling. Sue removed his radio-collar at his den that fall, and we never saw him again. Pete never wore a radio-collar because he would not allow touching even though he spent his year and a half with June having Sue, me, and others frequently present. Over the years, he became more relaxed. We saw 11-year-old Pete as recently as two days ago.

Thank you for all you do.

Loved the bear updates.  Gee having a bear is like having a dog, they dig big holes.   :D

Sorry I didn't comment more, was hauling a neighbor all over and have just enough time to finish this sandwich and go get my hair cut.  Later!

Beautiful weather here.  We have had some cooler temps and it is starting to feel like autumn in Cali.

Have I finished my painting?    Better ask  me if I have even started other than purchasing supplies.  LOL

The Eaglette is a fine procrastinator!!!  I have accomplished zero on my painting project, but have developed great intentions to get the job done.   LOL

I have managed to do anything else but what I set out to do last weekend.  And to make sure to punish myself, rightly so for not doing what needs to get done, ie painting.... I have also denied myself anything pleasurable in the day too.  There take that as punishment Eaglette!

The bright side is a lot of other projects that I have put off in the past have amazingly been given the time during my "time out" times and have been finished.    I really don't know how I manage to keep it all together with this insanity, but it works.  I am a glutton for punishment.

I make another true confession, whilst making this all public knowledge... I confess to having not only spoiled my three children so that some of their antics caused me to gray prematurely, but I am also spoiling my daughter's dog to no end.  Why of why Lord have I not learned my lesson after 30 years???  This dog is so spoiled that she refuses to eat her dog food from morning to night, until I hand feed it to her whilst she sits on the bottom of my bed.   ROFLOL.   What fool am I????  She plays me like a fiddle and I just let her play me.    :D

I am seriously behind on my painting project!   Stop laughing, it really is going to stress me out to have this painting project on my back burner now.   I am thinking that I cannot get it done before the weekend when a relative is possibly coming to visit and spend the night.  That justifies another week of procrastinating for me on the painting project.   Are you laughing out loud yet???   Yes, I am an adult and I function like this, quite well I might add.   LOL

I have quilting that I want to do since last year, but now I am punishing myself by withholding doing something I want to do until the painting project is done.   LOL   Don't worry, after I finish painting I am sure that the garage clean out that has been on the way back burner will move forward and prevent me from quilting again.  Until 2 weeks before the holidays, when I want to complain to myself about not having made that quilting project to give as a gift, oh well, Christmas 2018???  maybe that year will be the year I finish my quilting project.  How far have I come on it?  I bought the supplies in 2014.   Stop laughing so loudly, I can hear you through the thread to the Cheers lounge.

OK, now I will watch a few Youtube videos on removing wallpaper border to make myself feel like I am advancing my painting project.

Everyone have a productive week, do as I say, not do as I do.    ;)

Hi the eaglette!  :D lol i am so happy i asked about the painting!!  You are a very fine procrastinator..I see you have really punished yourself for it. You took a big step forward by purchasing the supplies! At least you fed that little dog!! There are miracles all around!

Hi Nora! a bear is like having a big dog..hope your haircut goes good for you! Nice of you to haul your neighbor around.
