Nora, you couldn't pay me to take that mule ride! I wouldn't walk it either! I just can't see any fun in that! That is down right scary!

Jp, good luck tomorrow! Hope you get to stop for lunch!

Cal, how kind of you to let Roxie stay with the mourning horse. You are a special friend. I realized that you hadn't mentioned her for awhile and wondered what was up! So glad to read that Sam's cub is reunited with the family! Won't worry about that now! Good to know that Lily has a safe place live. Wish all the bears were that lucky.

Obsver, hope you can get back online soon! We miss you and Ra! Miss you, too, Dlong, Neva and Eaglette!

jp they are talking about your retractable roof pretty cool said it rains every day there and messing up batting practice and games put that roof on said only open about 12 times a year. keeps out the heat and humidity for fans pretty nice.

Hello Jewelies  8)

OMG Nora, I loved that video!  I never even thought of looking that up.  There are quite a few good videos suggested when watching your friend's video; which I have watched.  I found this wonderful explanation of just how old this area is.  Makes me wonder who thought of making this trail up the canyon walls?  And who was the first human that thought of the idea, hey let's strap our stuff onto this here mule and sit on it as we ride up or down the canyon wall trail.     ;D

You know Cal, not only do those horses walk down the trail, but up the trail too.  That means you WILL pass by some big human straddling a saddled mule.  That is what made me decide to NOT partake in that adventure.  hahaha

JP, good luck in Miami.  I also thank you for sending us these delightful bear GIFs and those beautiful bear photos (especially when you identify the bear) and thirdly, for the "young ladies" remark!  :D

I am keeping track of the game between your two teams playing each other on:   http://m.mlb.com/gameday/royals-vs-marlins/2016/08/23/448738?partnerId=LR_gameday#game_tab=gameday,game=448738,game_state=live

Hi Blschue, Ruesgram and Willi!  Missing seeing Dlong, Neva, Obsver, RA and anyone else I may left out!

It had been a long week of feasting whilst having family visit at the Eaglette aerie!  New week, new theme: why your one week vacation means I get something to do for three weeks.  :P  Yesterday busy with lot's of laundry, piles of sheets, blankets and towels  :o  Today all the floors got washed and the furniture dusted.  After all those shoes and feet/paws going in and out of my nest, well, let me just say that it needed a wash down and the furniture needed a dusting or polishing too. Next on my list is to tackle the bathrooms and kitchen.  This may take more energy than I can muster up in one day.  I swear it will take me the better part of the rest of this week to fully restore
my peace.   :)

Oh, you wondering, that's two weeks, what about that third week?   ???   That was the week of prepping for their arrival.   LOL

Okay, here is a little something for the seventh inning stretch:  https://youtu.be/q4-gsdLSSQ0

And here is a little something for after the game:   https://youtu.be/04KQydlJ-qc

Have a wonderful week you all.

cal, everyone is tested for drugs.  The Marlins second baseman, Dee Gordon, tested positive and got a 80 game suspension and will not be able to play in any play off games they may get into.
