Hello my dear Jewelies! I hope you all are having a blessed day.
I saw my doctor yesterday. You all know that I had a stroke 5 years ago. I have a problem with my brain sorting out my daily stuff and putting it in a memory slot. My memory slot is on the fritz, so to speak. I am now at the point where I cannot recall what happened on the day before. Don't feel bad, it really does not bother me. Emotionally, I am flat. If I don't write it down, it is gone forever. I have had enough therapy to work this all out with what is left of my mind. I guess I am just coming out to everyone that I have this problem with my brain. Just in case any of you or your family or friends, well you get the picture; anyone reading this: I am where you are too and it is okay. I do not know what the future holds for me, and now I also do not retain the recent past. I still recall some things way back, but it is also getting harder as time goes by to recall the life events rather than just be aware that I participated. I cannot explain this better, sorry. Now, I also wrote it down, so I can refer back to it. lol Two birds with one stone.
JP, I am so happy to hear that you are still so healthy and that rest can cure your ails. You probably like things tight, from your Navy days. Best start to relax a bit. I sure wish that I was not all the way across the country from you; cause I would enjoy sitting down with you over a cup of coffee and talk music with you. Do you get out much JP? I mean other than doctor appointments? I hear the Keys have some fun bistros to enjoy people watching and a cup or glass of your favorite beverage.
Cal, Cal, Cal. You are a gem of a gal!! To be honest I can't recall most of what you do, but each time I read it, it reminds me that you are a real cowgirl!! Tell Jim that I really would enjoy operating a ride on mower. Since I cannot drive a car anymore, I think a lawn mower would be a safe alternative.

Of course I would want one that looks like this:

Nora, be careful what you wish for when you blow out your candles; cause just look at Chief Wana Dubie making the news:
http://www.news-leader.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/08/03/missouri-voters-pass-chief-wana-dubie-senator/88054146/ He is running for President next. LOL
Neva, don't those chocolate covered strawberries look devine!!! I have tried to make them over the years, but I don't recall them ever looking that pretty. But, hey, mine could have been Saks Fifth Ave worthy; but I have no recall of that. LOL
DeborahG, it brought a big smile to my face to see your name. Thanks. Glad you are doing swell.
Rues, hello to you too. What kind of computer did you get? I use a Toshiba Satellite and just really enjoy how it works so quickly. It has intel core i3. I don't really know what that is, but it is faster than my last computer, which is a Sony.
Willi, great to see so many posts from you too. What a hitchhiker that bear was. lol
I really enjoyed seeing all the bears posted. The bears Valentine, RC and Ohio are so majestic looking. Valentine has a real bear's bear face. Maybe someone can make Valentine a puzzle.?
Hello to all I missed, it is just too hard for me to have another open tab and go back to re-read what you wrote, so I can comment on it. But please know that each and everyone of your posts are always entertaining! And for that I thank you!!
Peace, Eaglette.
