I forgot I was going to post this video. Bei Bei had been up in a tree napping until afternoon. When he starts to come inside he sees his dad, Tian-Tian through the window and they greet each other. Then he relaxes in his little pool indoors. So cute! This was on Friday.

This one was taken yesterday and shows him outside climbing around on trees and then shows him inside just being super cute!

I'm finished now!

It only took me 4:27 tp decide I did not want any children's thighs.

dlong), great series of panda pictures and cute videos.

cal, Marlins  took 2 out of 3 from the Cardinals but still remain tied with the Mets for the second Wild Card spot.  A long way to go but they are playing good baseball at 49-42.

Braveheart, lured to the scale with food.

It looks as if my normal get up time is now around 6 instead of 5 so I will quit saying I overslept.  I feel comfortable this morning (only a twinge now and then).

Nothing major scheduled for me today so I plan a peaceful Monday.  Take in  my laundry to the drop-off and go out to eat.  Sounds dull but I like it.

I wish for all a comfortable day,  Oops, it just started pouring rain here.

Daily Updates
Beautiful End of Day - UPDATE July 17, 2016
17 July 2016
Print Email
Meeting this great group made my day, then the phone started ringing as community feeders told us what they had for the group to see. RC and her cubs got the vote, but the cubs were up a tree. Crackle
Crackle
Soon the sun was setting, and the beauty and nature made everyone?s day. V-Dot caused a stir as he emerged from the shadows and calmly joined us. Jack, always a favorite, came next. Crackle showed us how he curls the tip of his tongue down to grab hazelnuts sent by Lily Fans. He uses the top of his tongue about an inch from the tip. How he holds onto them, nobody knows. A deer came out of dense brush and caught some rays. Woods Lake lit up with reflections of golden clouds. Finally, the sun faded as a herring gull patiently waited for his share of the bounty.

A good day.

Thank you for all you do.

I raised the genie in 4:22 but he would not grant my wish.  He said he had  filled his quota by the cat's rubbing.

Shhhhh... don't tell but my kitty was rubbing her lamp for 7:22   :o

I watched a video on how Ambassador Decorah was brought to Luther College last Saturday for the After The Fledge party.  He apparently was uncomfortable in crowds and was no where near the folks coming from all around.  I saw a broadcast of him on his perch on the other side of Luther College.  I just wonder what would have been his reaction had his Handler taken him to Decorah Fish Hatchery area.  Would he recognize it and want to rejoin his family?  Would he make noises that would attract the return of his Mom or Dad?  So many questions that I have for the Ambassador.   :D

That link is in the AFT thread on the Forum.  I looked at it yesterday, so I don't have the link handy and right now I cannot figure out how to get back to that link.  I cannot find it.  Silly me.

Jp, it is always good to embrace changes when there are no better options.  Glad to see you are finally coming to acceptance that you are no longer getting up at 5AM as in the past.  Since you are embracing a new time, why not give yourself to 9AM or 10    ;)

I feel for all of you in the heat.  I wish I could send you some cooler air from the west, however, the heat is on the rise for this part of the USA too.

I am watching the adventures of a couple whom used to travel across the USA in a Class A RV.  Now they purchased a good sized catamaran and are living on it.  They are in their early stages of being taught how to sail it etc. and are located off Florida, I think down by Miami area now.  They are known as Gone With The Wynns.

https://www.youtube.com/user/gonewiththewynns/videos

You might enjoy them too.  I have escaped to all parts of this country with them and am looking forward to their sailing journey.  They put out a new video about once a week.

Ok, right now I am having a brain fart and cannot recall who shared this link with me, but the following link is about a dog that lives alone on a small island in New Caledonia and another couple that are live aboard a Catamaran too.  Although I think this Catamaran is probably worth upwards of $1 MIL USD.

https://youtu.be/tzBDSPPpgYI

I could listen to the sounds of nature on that video for hours if I were on that Cat too.

OK, that's it for me.  I have been working on this message now for over an hour.  LOL  looks like Cal posted two new ones while I was trying to finish one.  Dedicated I am, eh? Have a wonderful week.
Peace, Eaglette.

Mama Shadow in a Winter coat.

We have a Tuesday to make the most of.  Now that is a worthwhile endeavor.

cal, Is this the day you go to your baseball game?  I was thinking of all the baseball parks I have gone to.  Every one an enjoyable eXperience.  I actually feel sorry for anyone who has not had the opportunity to go to a major league baseball game.  I thought this was an interesting stat.  Top 5 MLB team batting averages.

RK   Team   League    G   AVG
1   Boston Red Sox   AL   .289
2   Miami Marlins   NL   .272
3   Colorado Rockies   NL   .272
4   Kansas City RoyalsAL   .271
5   Baltimore Orioles   AL   .269

I wish everyone the best of experiences this day.

Glad you like Windows 10 Cal.  Someday I'll see a Snowy Owl in the wild, sigh.  If a person has kids that don't listen, usually the parents fault for not teaching them when they're little, then leave the damn kids home so they don't wreck things for other people.  Sorry, but that's how I feel.

It's 70, dew point is 70, and at the moment is raining.  It's supposed to go up to 82 with lots of humidity.  Took Chester for a short walk before the rain while it was still real cloudy, so didn't feel too bad that time.

Eaglette, I didn't see Decorah, but I heard that he seemed nervous at first, but settled down fine.  The way eagles fly Luther isn't that far from the hatchery, maybe he could sense where he was too.  I kept the YouTube link for the Wynn's.  What a life.  Interesting about the dog "Moose" on the island.  I'm downloading the video and will check it out this afternoon!

You have a good day too JP!

Daisy.

Pains are more present this morning.  I have to go to the oral surgeon at 1 p.m.  I am so not looking forward to that.  So far, today is a bummer.

So, I hope all of you have a top-notch day.  One you can look back on with smiles.

HI Jewelies! Oh, it's hot here, too! Been mostly staying inside. No relief until next week. Yuck!

Cal, glad you got to go to the game! Sorry it was so hot there! Funny you telling Jim to give away any more tickets he might win! Lol! We went to Cincinnati to see the Reds play twice. One time with friends and one time when we took my Mom. Mom was thrilled because her favorite team, the Braves, were playing the Reds. She would sit for hours watching baseball on tv. She loved baseball as much as she loved her soap operas or as she called them "her stories". My poison ivy is finally gone! I've got to be more careful when I work in my flowerbeds! Glad Sweets got his bed fixed! Did Polly have any trouble babysitting while you were at the game?

Jp, hope you weren't in too much pain after the numbing left! Thanks for the pic of Daisy! I had a white kitten named Daisy until I took her to the vet for her first check up. That's when the vet told me she was a he! Lol! Daisy became Corky! Lol!

Think I'll go to bed because there is nothing on tv! Night all!

Bow, looking or listening for something.

The anesthesia finally wore off last night from the extraction of two broken teeth.  OH, boy!  I swear the removed teeth hurt even though they are not there.  I hope things settle down as the day progresses.

Fond thoughts to you all, may this be a satisfactory Thursday for you/
