No worries, jp. I'm sure we can handle a few cuss words!!  Ra, those grands already have a ton of good memories with you with a ton more to come. They are lucky. My grandmas lived over 300 miles away, and one died when I was only 3 months old. The bed is turned on and toasty, so it's time for bed. The heat helps me relax as long as I turn it off before i go to sleep. Goodnight, all!!

Hope

I had an uncomfortable night (must have been reliving the MRI experience) and wound up oversleeping.  Not a good way to start a day but the day is supposed to be a good one weather-wise.

Good thoughts go out to all from this old sailor.

Hi Jewelies!  Drizzly day here, but not cold or anything.  Just got finished talking to the tree guy... yikes.  I decided I want those 5 instead of 3 taken out, he said it was a good thing.  One of the last two is dead and the other is so old and gnarly, probably won't last much longer anyway.  Plus, cheaper to get them all done at one time.  I know he's giving me a good price, but ... yikes.  I told him to think about giving me a better price since I'm telling everyone about him.  lol

cal... Corey Dog sure is one lucky dog.  He's probably really happy!  Couldn't have found a better mama!  Did you find the letter about your hearing?  Hope so!

JP... You're so funny!  Hit the hay...  lol

Hope all are doing well... hi to everyone!

I'd love to be able to give you all the wood, blschue!  Maybe save me lots of $$$!  lol  Sounds like your bathroom is situated in just the right place in your house!

I have no idea!  Keep the thermostat at 68o, don't cook hardly at all... maybe once a week.  Only me taking showers... unless Handsome has figured that out, too.  lol  I'm all electric though...  Still, I only have 1500 sq ft house!

Not sure exactly how many inches, I'm GUESSING about 5+.  Still snowing out.  They've closed all the roads in this county and SE MN pulled plows until tomorrow because of the wind blowing snow around.

Hello Jewelies!

Let me start by telling each one of you writers/chats that I so enjoyed coming to the Forum this evening and reading over the past couple of days of your discussions.  It was a joyful experience for me!

The west coast was slammed with that wicked storm over the weekend and now I read that you all have that angry monster making trouble in your neck of the woods.  Those of you that are in the cold have a lot of snow and those of you that are not as cold are getting slammed with rain.  And many have thunderstorms and heavy winds.  I know, we did too.  It is a tough one, but this water is so much needed in many parts of our beautiful U.S. of A.

I had a wonderful weekend with my parents.  We had a good time taking care of each other  ;D  I showed Mother the eagle nest in Ft Myers.  She so enjoys seeing those baby eaglets.  Mother always has enjoyed watching birds and has many feeders at her home.  We both sit and watch them feed and come for the water.  Even Dad enjoys watching the birds in the yard.  Although he is not too fond of watching the streaming videos, as he would rather watch sports than birds.  I got a lot of good peaceful rest at their home too.  I enjoyed listening to the high winds whipping through the trees and the rain, as it almost sounded like the ocean was right outside the window.  Now we have sunshine days.  Everything is cleaned off, all the leaves were blown away and the sun is warm enough to leave off the furnace and open some windows to the outside clean air.

However, it is crisp at night and the windows stay closed!  Like some of you, I snuggle up with me, myself and I.  Sometimes even an electric blanket  ;)  If I am lucky, I get to snuggle with my daughter's dog.

Well, that's about enough for now.  I am going back to sleep as I feel ready to.  Have a good evening and a wonderful Wednesday.
