Good Morning!  Happy Sunday to All!

A miserable day here, yesterday.  No TV, no computer, rain, very depressing.  Then, at 8:07, the TV suddenly burst forth with sound.  I looked up and there was also a picture so I got to watch the Clemson/UNC game.  Clemson tried their best to give the game to North Carolina with stupid penalties, ejections  and punters trying to be heroes.  I had to go to bed before it ended, with Clemson ahead by 19 points but I see UNC  made it closer than that before it ended.  I am not up on all the otherscores.

I did see the sun briefly here at noon and for that brief moment I felt good.  There is supposed to be just a few scattered thunderdtorms today.  YIPPEE!

Pleasant thoughts for all.  Have a fine Sunday.

Cute sand snowman!  It took 9:23 in triangles to get him to put on sunglasses  ;)

Love that Wells Fargo ad, I've never seen that one!

Wow JP that's great if you've had that stent for 16 years!!  It's encouraging being Joe just got that one of his.  Oh that's right, his is in the right coronary artery and will probably be taken out when they replace that vessel for the other blockage.  Congratulations on getting your TV back!!

Have a great Sunday all....................

Good evening Jewelies! Just heard some good news...President Carter is cancer free! He is such a sweet man.

Cal, Crow says congrats to you and K State! Holgersen was on the news talking about the game and Crow was cussing him out and shouting fire the s.o.b! :o  He said WVU plays AZ state on Jan 2.  That was so nice of Jim to help the old guy change his tire! And nice of the old guy to leave gift cards for Jim! There are good people out there!  I'm going to try and post this link from our local newspaper about the Beckett brothers...http://www.newsandsentinel.com/page/content.detail/id/557104/Man-claims-Beckett-brothers-are-relatives.html?nav=5061 I tried to post it last night and had a heck of a time with it!  Ra's commercial reminded me of your sweatshirt CA got you...you know the horse and the carrot! :D

Ra, loved that commercial! Are you feeling better today? It's awful to hurt the day after you do some work! Makes you not want to work anymore! :D Congrats on Clemson's win!

Jp, hoping that computer comes tomorrow! Glad your tv cable finally came back on! Our cable co is in the process of enhancing(whatever that means), so some of our channels aren't available! The only way to get that channel back is to do a rescan. I rescanned 3 times yesterday!

Willi, thanks for telling us about Lbl's loss. So sad.

Nora, you knew about the 2 sisters Gramma and Ginga, too?  You'd think I would have heard of them before being that they are only 70 miles away! ::)  Thanks for the cute Sunday bear!

Sorry, I just tried to get that stupid link to work with no luck. It's saying you need to subscribe. I hate this paper but it's the only one in the county. >:(  Well. I tried it again and it worked! Sometimes a subscription thingy pops up and you can't see the article and sometimes it doesn't! Good grief!

Hi Jewelies!  Busy, busy, busy today!  I made 6 kinds of muffins for my customers and I did some more yard work.  I might get the yard done by next spring!  lol

rues... I tried to read about the Beckett brothers, but it would only print one sentence, then asked for subscription info.  Darn.  Thanks for the Clemson congrats!   I know you're not a fan, so it means a lot!   ;)  Does Crow really think WV will get a new coach soon?  I turned my mattress pad up last night and it helped with the aching muscles.  Felt good today!   My daughter says that we will be like Gramma and Ginga when I get old!  lol  They're such a hoot!  lol

cal... I see the Chiefs won today.  So... Clemson gets to play Oklahoma... again.  We beat them in a bowl game last year, 40-6!!  Sure hope we have a repeat!  lol  They had the pizza party at the stadium today, over 20,000 fans showed up!  Cool!  Very nice of Jim to help the old guy with his tire, and nice of the old guy to acknowledge Jim's good deed.  What you been up to today?

JP... I hope you got to see the sun today!  Hope you get your computer this week and glad you got to watch some of our game.  Yes, just think what the score would have been if we didn't have those stupid penalties, crazy punter moves, and the ejection. Geez...

Nora... Cute Sunday bear!!

Thanks, willi...

dlong... Did you party to much?  Miss seeing your smiling face!   :)

Hi to everyone!  Hope all are well.  Have a good evening!

Speaking of Gramma and Ginga!

Per FaceBook post:
We wanted to let everyone know that Gramma is still in the hospital...but in good spirits and slowly getting her strength back. We're hoping they spring her free in a couple days. We've received tons of messages asking if people can send her get well cards. Although I'm a little worried the mailman may quit when he sees the load of mail coming...what the hell, send away! Lets put that guy to work:)

You can send a get well card to:

Gramma
C/O Diana Somazze
2314 Hamill Ave
Clarksburg WV 26301
United States

And thank you again for ALL the super nice comments, and the number of people that have taken the time to write such heartfelt and personal messages! It's simply amazing to see how much joy and laughter G&G have brought to so many people.

Good Morning This Monday!

Well, I woke up to heavy rain.  I knew I should not have put off building the ark.

My TV had the video all day yesterday but the audio kept going on and off.  Mostly off.  It is on this morning but who knows.  They are sending a technician out to the house this morning so maybe things will get resolved.

I am one unhappy dude.  Thankful that this little pad is working.

I really hope good weather and high spirits are the norm for all you jewelies.

Good morning, Jewelies! Cal, I have that weird fog, too. Don't want it, because I have to take one of the outside cats to the vet in an hour--it's 13 miles from here. So sorry to hear that Babe is having such a hard time. Poor baby, poor you. I know you are giving her the best care she could get. Jp, hope you get all your stuff straightened out today. Have you been able to read to pass the time? I just started Patrick Taylor's latest, An Irish Doctor in Love and At Sea. Love that series!  Michael Connelly's newest, the Crossing was excellent. Hi, rues, ra, Dlong, nora, bischue, Willi, pat, deb, eaglet!! Gotta go feed the cats. bbl
