Yep, had to sign in again today! Thanks Willi for info. My cable company is upgrading and enhancing, whatever that means, so I have to keep rescanning the channels so I can watch them! Grrrr! Hate when things don't work right!

Cal, little BooBoo just wanted to sit in his mama's lap! You two went for a little ride! Glad you weren't injured!  Terrible what happened in Paris. The world is so unsafe with Isis out there. When will it all end?  Heard Crow screaming orders at the Mountaineers yesterday! They must have heard him too because they won! :D Cutest pic of Syd! What a bow! :D Hope Babe has a good day!

Jp, real nice pic of Faith! Hoping Amy can fix whatever the problem is so you won't be a GOM anymore! :D

Ra, yay for your cheerleaders! They must have done very well yesterday! Sounds like a road trip for you! My crepe myrtle is a deep red or burgundy color. It had one bloom on it when I got it. Hope it gets to bloom next summer.

Deb, happy to hear Tommy is doing well!

Hi to everyone. Bbl

Hi Cal! We sat in the very back of the plane both ways to and from CA! Had to wait forever to get off after we landed. All the overhead luggage spaces near our seats were taken by the time we got boarded. Had to put our luggage in empty spaces towards the middle of the plane! Best thing about being in the very back of the plane was the restroom was right behind our seats! Which was very convenient!  :D I think BooBoo wanted you back in the bed! :D  I wish Boober would find another place to sleep. He is such a bed hog. And he snores, too. He's as bad of a bed partner as Crow was!  :D  Did you get the ticket printed and it's not in the back?  :D How long will Jim be in Vegas? Is this a meeting for the new contract? Hope they get everything they want!

HI Jewelies!   Chilly here this morning... it was down to freezing.  What a day for my furnace to go out!  Son-in-law is working on it for me.  My usual guy isn't available to come, but is one of my SIL's best friends and he doesn't live very far from me, so he's helping via phone, etc.  lol  Hope they get it fixed today!

rues... I sat in the very back seat once, and yes, it took forever to get off the plane!  I usually tried to get as far toward the front as I could.  When they started charging for baggage, everyone brought as much as they could onboard and one time, all the cargo holds were full in the front, so my bag was over seats BEHIND me!  What a hassle when it was time to get off the plane!  One guy was nice enough to hand my bag forward to me.  I wasn't sure what I was going to do!  Has Tela come out of the bedroom?

cal... Drama was probably too cold with you not in bed!!  Wanted his mama to spoon with him!  lol  I hope Jim has fun in Vegas!  Does he ever do any gambling?  Sounds like you had quite a ride in the kitchen last night!  Yikes!  How much does BooBoo weigh now?

willi... Thanks for the info today!

JP... I don't blame you for being a GOM... computer issues always make me grumpy, too.

Hi everyone and hopes for a good Sunday!

hi cal!  Doesn't look like I'm going to have a furnace tonight.  Brrr.  Can't find the capacitor on Sunday... of course.  Why doesn't this always happen on the weekend?  lol  Guess I'll spend the evening in bed with my mattress pad turned up!  SIL offered to get me a space heater, but I don't trust them, so I'll pass.  Did you hurt your back on something or what?  On your kitchen trip?  Hope it feels better!

cal.. SIL said he could find other sizes, but not the one I need.  He'll be back in the morning to fix it... hopefully.  You're right about your back, probably lifting big Babe all the time is taking its toll.  I don't even want to think about what Handsome and BooBoo and space heaters!   :o

A nice picture of Ted.

cal, sorry about ;your back hurting.  I know from experience how that can affect everything uyou do.  Great that the Chiefs beat the Broncos.  The Dullphins went behind 16-0  early in the first quarter and I expected a wipe out but somehow they got their at together and won the game 20-19.  See, miracles do happen.  In college football, 4 of the top 10 teams lost.

Regarding the comments on aircraft seating.   I always tried to get seats in the back as it is the safest place in relation to crashes.

Ra's furnace problem reminded me of my early winters here where houses usually did not have any heating systems.  Many is the time we would  turn on the oven in the kitchen stove and leave the door open.  Basically living in the kitchen.

Den Cams, Wildlife, Writing - UPDATE November 15, 2015

Blue Jay
Blue Jay
As Jewel and Lily and her cubs are snug in their dens and we wait for word on the Den Cams, I?m mostly at my desk writing. Out the window, the temperature got up to 49? F, melting most of the snow and making the suet softer to peck into. A male hairy woodpecker alternated with the gray jay to get his share. A downy woodpecker wanted some, too, but the hairy woodpecker was twice his size. Red squirrels glowed in the sun as they competed for sunflower seed hearts left over from the bears. A thank you to Lily Fans who donated for the food.

Red squirrel   Hairy woodpecker   Chickadee
Thank you for all you do.

HI Jewelies!  Got my furnace fan fixed this morning, sure was chilly in here, but nice and cozy in bed with my heated mattress pad and my 2 cats!  lol  Sure is quiet here today...  Blindspot is on tonight...

cal... I hope your back is ok today.  With it raining all day, I know you have more work to do in the barn.  Nice nature pics in the update today!

JP... I can see my cats in the oven if I left the door open...   :o  lol

Hope everyone is having a good day!  Hi to all!

Back again... I was going to tell you guys about a new snack!!  They're made by Cheetos (keep reading,obsver... lol).  They're called Sweetos... they look like little onion rings, but they're not.  They're round airy little o's covered with cinnamon and sugar, with a taste of butter (to me... anyway).  They're only here for a limited time, but if you like cinnamon and sugar stuff, you should try them.  I got them at Walmart last week.   :)
