Hi Jewelies!  Rain, rain go away... come again another day.  Geez...

Congrats to the ROYALS !!  I stayed up and watched them until the 9th inning, nothing happening, so I went to bed.  Guess that's all they needed, was for me to go to bed!  lol  I thought for sure they would be coming home to finish off the Mets.  What time did the game finally get over, cal?

cal... Had to laugh at the dog shame today!  Bad dog humping the pony! lol  Now KC has to drain all the fountains and get the blue out... after the parade though, right?  I'm glad Rios had his googles on and didn't get champagne in his eyes!  lol  Is that him in the pic with the car keys?  Fancy googles there!   I don't blame you for being afraid of overdosing poor old Babe!!  Sydney and her team are tiny, little girls!!  Yup, three pounds, I'd say.  lol

BBL... Hi to all!

I spent 6:14 trying to get gum out of that machine.  Then I went and had a chocolate covered cherry.

Hi Ra!! I don't know for sure when the game was over i was getting babe up or laying her down or feeding her or giving her a drink or petting her telling her please go to sleep i am thinking like midnight then i watched the post game on MLB i went to bed finally at 2 am and got up at 4 am. royals set a record on come back games and scoring the most runs in the 7 th inning or later.  niece nicole just left me a message saying they finally closed cydney's and mirandra school. i heard on the radio this morning they were closing all the schools so the kids could go to the big parade tomorrow for the royals. sydney i told you 3 lbs! her older brother skylar a rail too and her son's daughter i can't remember her name right now but it too starts with a S..little too.  No that is our famous catcher salvador perez with the car keys..keys to his brand new chevy malibu for being chosen as the MVP!! sweet huh! what a catcher he is too. no one be stealing second with him..his arm is great..his catching great and his hitting pretty great too. he is always smiling and just a really nice guy. This is alex rios don't have a picture with his googles on but i saw them and they are really nice googles!

Hi Jewelies!  :)

Yay for the Royals! Loved the game last night and you should have heard the fireworks going off! Oh my gosh!

I have been doing a lot of reading. I found out how to check out library books on my Kindle for free and have been catching up on all the books I have missed. I made the mistake of putting a bunch of books on hold and they became available all at one time almost!

Almost all of the local school districts, including the colleges, are cancelling school for tomorrow's parade. They found out that people were taking their kids out of school for it anyway and their attendance was going to be way down so decided to just call off tomorrow. Some of the businesses are giving folks the option of taking a day off. But there are a lot of folks who are planning to be sick tomorrow. Ha!

I've been reading all of your posts and typed out a nice post for you guys. And then my stupid computer did something weird and I lost the post. When my son comes up for Christmas I will have him see if he can get stupid Windows 10 installed properly. I have to wipe out my hard drive to do it so I'm going to leave it for him.

So I will just post a couple of pics for you and go eat some food because now I'm really cranky with this computer.

There is a video of these little possums eating watermelon! I just think their little paws on the edge of the bowl are so cute! You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bidKbF8JSs

Bei Bei's mom took him out to her big space with the rocks the other day and he had his first tumble off the rocks. You can see the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0aHmPxdqdo  His tumble is at around 55 seconds.

Here are some panda pics I have collected over the past few days. First ones are Bei Bei and mom. The others are Mei Lun & Mei Huan. Zoo Atlanta has a new panda cam and it is so much better. These pics of the twins are screen captures I did.

It's hard to see, but they are both standing at the door trying to get the keepers to give them a treat!

Night time at Zoo Atlanta.

I love this picture of the chipmunk. The photographer takes some really beautiful wildlife photos and she wants people to share them. So here you go!

Hi to JP, Cal, Rues, Ra, Obsver, Willi, Eaglette, Pat, Chippy, Deb, Jo, Nora, Neva, Blschue and all who visit here. Have a great night.  ;D

I forgot to tell you that my first mission early this morning was to go to Quik Trip and buy newspapers for all my kids and grands. Mission accomplished!

And Eric Hosmer posted this on Facebook. You can see everyone with their GOOGLES on!  ;D

Love your pics, dlong!  Thanks, as usual!  I wonder how much each player gets for being the winners...

Congrats, Cal! Like Ra, I watched some of the game  :o ! When I went to bed it was tied at the bottom of the 9th! You bet, Crow watched all the ballgame! He loves the World Series. He woke me up to tell me that YOUR team won!! Cool that so many are getting the day off tomorrow to celebrate!   Lots and lots of googles in that pic! :D. Now it's back to football! Ugh! Sydney is really tiny! I used to know what that thing she is doing is called! What ever it's called she does it very well! She is so cute!  Hope you and Babe have a good night.

Jp, now you can get back to a regular sleep pattern! :D

Ra, I don't know how they keep those pumpkins on the roof! I wouldn't want to be the one putting them up there that's for sure! I wonder what they do with all those pumpkins after they are done with them! Maybe give them to pig farm! Robin got the face stickers at The Halloween Store. Do you have one of those stores? That place will be getting ready to close after they sell all the leftover stuff! It opens usually in August.  Congrats to the cheer squad and winning a trophy! They deserve something for traveling that far! Did the boyfriends go? It's so nice that you and the grand's spend time together. The rain is supposed to stay to our south and our temps will be in the 70's all week! Nice! Hope you don't get too much rain!

Dlong, thanks so much for all your pics! You know I love the pandas and now I'm loving the baby possums! They are so cute! Will you be going to the parade tomorrow? Do you stay away from the hood like Cal does? I'm not for sure what the hood is!  Thanks, too, for the info on the refuge near the area my 2nd great aunt lived. We never knew anything about her side of the family until we got into Ancestry. All we knew was that grandpa's mom died when he was only a year old. His dad remarried a year later and grandpa was raised by his step mom. This 2nd great aunt, Laura Grove Thomas, was grandpa's aunt, his mom's older sister. No one in our family ever mentioned the Grove family, that we can remember, only that it was grandpa's mom's maiden name. Apparently they had no contact with grandpa even though they lived in the same county. Can't seem to find why she and her husband moved to Kansas. Probably was for a job. Usually you can find the occupation on the census but so far no luck there!  Thanks for the pics of those cool sculptures. I like the one of the tree, too! Looks like it's stainless steel!  I had a long post the other day and I lost it somehow on this iPad. Look everywhere for it and it was gone! That really made me mad!

Nora, hope Joe is feeling better.

Deb, hoping all goes well for your Tommy.

Hi Obsver, Blshue, Eaglette, Jo, Neva, Pat, Willi, Chippy! I hope I didn't forget anyone!

Hi rues!  You don't know what the hood is??  Wow. It's the bad part of town.  The boyfriends didn't go with us last weekend, but they might be going with us this weekend.  This time it's a little farther away, in Columbia.  I hope the schedule works out so we can listen to our football game on the radio again.  Big game this time.  I know... You're saying... blah, blah, blah.  LOL  So far, in the last couple of days, we've gotten almost 3 inches of rain.  Our county doesn't have the flood watch anymore, but some of the counties South of us still do.  I guess they get our runoff.  We used to have a Halloween store, but not for the past few years.  I just might have to look for some of those stickers next year...  They were very cool!
