Hi Jewelies! Wonder why Dr Rogers didn't mention Jewel's injury before? Poor Jewel, you could see her organs and they thought she might die!! My gosh how horrible! At least she is safe in her den now and her wound can heal over winter. Hope she gets a den cam. I wonder, too, where Aster is.

Cal, little Sweets is a stinker! Hope your shoulder is ok!  Are all the auto contracts due the same time? If so, do they all get about the same deals? Hope they all get good contracts. Aren't many unions left now. My dad would be appalled. He worked so hard for his union. Now his plant is closed and the city is tearing it down to make a riverfront park. At least they aren't building a gas station or a bunch of new houses on the site.  Babe sounds like she is doing better. I'm glad to hear that! How's the Houla doing? Here's a story about our trip out west and the flat lands....we were traveling on I40 and way, way, way down the road we could see what we thought was a town. As we got closer it turned out to be a gigantic herd of cattle! It was a feed yard. :( That made me sad to think what was going to happen to all those cows. We had never seen anything like that before. I'm going to watch BBT and The Blacklist later this evening on my iPad, if I don't forget! :D Good luck to your team tonight!

Jp, yay, you had a good nights sleep! I did, too! I'm actually happy today!  :D

Ra, it's a shame our states can't be number one in something good like health and happiness! There was a murder yesterday near the area where the President had just visited the day before!  :o We are also number one in obesity! Hope your sil finished your remodel today! A cheer competition sounds like fun! I always enjoyed them! Now you behave yourself and be a good Gramma and don't embarrass your grand in front of her beau! :D

Hi Nora, BH and Willi!

Hi Jewelies!  :)

I'm ready for the game tonight!

This was the sunrise at Katmai this morning. Such a beautiful place.

I'll post later tonight or tomorrow. My joints are unhappy with the rain today.  :'(

But here are a couple of pics of Bei Bei to make you smile! His little paws are so cute! ;D

Can you see his little tongue? He is licking his mom.

I hope you alll have a wonderful evening!  :)

Hi Cal! That's really stupid and dangerous for someone to sleep on the job. Good jobs are hard to find! I don't blame CA for telling. That salad sounds good! I'll have to look for it at my Walmart. Yep Crow is watching baseball on tv and listening to local football on the radio and on the computer. He loves his sports. Hope your team wins!  Robin weighed little Tela this evening. She has gained 2 pounds! Yippee!

Dlong, aww such sweet pics of Bei Bei! Love those cute paws! Hope your joints feel better tomorrow!

Going to go watch BBT and then Blacklist.  You all have a nice evening!  :)

Hi Jewelies!  Went to the Varsity game tonight, my grand's JV team were cheering, too.  Leaving in the morning for the competition in Spartanburg.  The cheering grand will ride the bus, but we are taking the youngest grand and BOTH of the girls' boyfriends!  That should be VERY interesting!  Hope I can behave myself!  lol  I got to meet the new boy tonight... he seems like a friendly, smiley kid.  We even got to meet his mom at the game!

Sure am glad I don't live in Mexico right now... the largest hurricane on record??  Wow!

cal... Hope your game went well tonight!  I finally got my trim work in my kitchen and the new light is installed over the sink.  Now I have some touchup painting to do, then I'll be done.  I spent the whole afternoon burning brush.  I'm so tired... didn't feel like going to the game, I knew we would lose big... 49-0 is pretty big.  The team the kids played is from Clemson, needless to say, the Clemson coaches send their sons to this school, so they always beat everyone.  Dabo Sweeney's son is on the team, and so is our defensive coach's son.  Hate playing schools that you know you're going to lose to.  We have to leave for 11am tomorrow.  I guess they give the trophies out at 6pm, then probably out to eat, and 2 hours drive home.  The girls are staying here tomorrow night, but I'm not worrying about cooking, that's for sure!  I hope your shoulder is ok!  Your babies are so spoiled!  lol  Who spoils them so much??  Couldn't be Jim... not Polly... gee, who else is there?  lol

dlong... Looks like you're ready for the game!  lol  Love your pics, thanks!  The pandas are extra cute!!

rues... I've never been to a cheer competition before.  When my daughter cheered, her coaches weren't interested in competing.  This will be my first one!  Tomorrow is the youngest grand's and her boyfriend's one year anniversary... she gave him a bag of candy and a framed pic of them at the Clemson game last weekend.  He gave her a gift card to Starbucks!  lol  They start young!  lol

Hi to everyone!  Hope you all have a good night, and a nice Saturday!  I'm going to bed!  Nite!

This is Bow

Another oversleep morning but I am holding up pretty well.  Glad the Royals won but it sure looked as if they would lose toward the end there.  A few days before the next round starts so I'll have a chance to get back to battery.

It certainly startled me to read that Jewel had been seriously injured.  I can only hope that she will fully recover over the hibernation period.

All, have a fine Saturday on this last October weekend of this year.  My best thoughts for you.

Hi Jewelies!  Well... I don't get to go to the competition... I'm sick.  I was fine when my daughter dropped me off last night, then before I went to bed, I got a sore throat and today I still have it, runny eyes, sniffles, headache.  I'm so disappointed!  I get to watch the Clemson game, but I wanted to watch my grand.   :'(

cal... Glad the Royals won!  What was the score?  Bad dog in the shame today!!  Oh, my!

blschue... Derek is very talented!  Darn old cloths and vacuums... just sit there.   :)

JP... Glad you get to rest up now.  Hope our game today is a good one!

I"m going back to bed, Jewelies... BBL

Thanks, willi!

cal... Jim sure keeps busy, doesn't he?  I guess it's that time of year for furnace repairs or replacements.  Summer sure went by fast!  I don't think JP gave me the sore throat, but maybe...  I just hope none of the rest of the bunch I saw last night gets it.  I hope it goes away as fast as it came!  Yes, I get to watch the game though...  I need to get dressed and get my Clemson on!

ra, I am ashamed of the University of Miami for putting such an inept team on the  field with Clemson.

I'm grateful that I have my bed.  I certaily spend a lot of time in it.  But, I am more grateful when I wake up in the morning.  I got up in 3:43

JP... You shouldn't be ashamed of Miami!  Clemson is a tough team this year and it sounds like Miami is having recruiting issues.  Penalties aren't helping them either...  Plus, their QB is out of the game, too.
