Is it almost over, cal?  Seems like it should be...  My game is on ABC here, but I don't know about there... You can probably watch it on your computer ESPN3... that's where I watch when I can't find it on tv.

Looks good.  3 possible games left and only need to win one.  If that happens, cal,  the some series games will be in K.C.

A gal up the street has her hydrangea on the north side of their house and it's done real well.

Got the leaves right in front of the porch up and did some plant destroying  :D and left some, nice day or so yet.  This noon I gave Sparky a much needed bath, it went real well.  Anyone who has a dog that doesn't like the bathtub, try a towel in the bottom, it works great.  The first time I did that we fought to get him in there again and then he was like a different dog.  I have to almost drag him into the bathroom and to the tub, but he decides he can't go anywhere and hops right in himself now.  They've been building a dog wash next to a truck wash (same building) up town all spring/summer, MAYBE it will open soon, that would be nice.

That picture of baby Cole yesterday IS adorable.  :)

Cute stick ghosts D.  We're really dry here too, rain keeps missing, and not supposed to burn anything.

That's a neat bed and huge!  How do you change the sheets?

That cute little face of Mei Lun.  :D  I get a kick out of the panda kids when they sleep draped over something with their feet hanging down.

"some of the series games will be...."  You mean this isn't the series?  Damn.  I thought the baseball was going to be done.  Between Joe's football now AND baseball and sorry, I'm not a sports person at all.

Hi Jewelies!

Tried to go to bed and I'm not sleepy so I thought I'd tell you about the interesting thing I'm going to do next month. I'm going to a "class" where I will learn 8 new recipes and prepare them and then bring them home to freeze. The meals normally serve 2 people so I will have 16 meals to put in my freezer. It costs $65 but the people from the store will bring everything you need to make the meals. No grocery shopping! It's going to be at the community center. The lady in charge of it told me that if it's successful they will be offering other classes with Mexican, Mediterranean, Indian food, etc. I think it will be fun. This is what the class description says:

Stock your freezers with ready-to-cook meals that will make dinner time a breeze! Liberty Hy-Vee dietitians, Tamera and Lindsey, will do all the shopping and pre-prep of ingredients. Tables will be assembled with recipe ingredients. Class participants will prepare eight freezer ready meals that will serve 1-2 People. You may also package your meals individually which would equal 16 meals that cost about $4 bucks a meal! Meals that you will prepare are:

?Lil Cheddar Meat Loaves
?Autumn Soup
?Baked Ziti
?Three Bean Chili
?Apple Cherry Pork Chops
?Baked Chicken Tomatillo
?Broccoli and Rice Casserole
?Chicken Cacciatore

Re-heating instructions along with original recipes will be provided

These little meerkats at Zoo Atlanta are telling you good night.  :)

Looks delicious, maybe you can share some of your favorite recipes from these menus in the recipe section of the Forum?

Hi Cal.  Congrats on your Royals win.  I enjoyed reading the posts you put on it.  Almost like listening to the radio announcer :-)

JP, how are you feeling after a good night's rest?  Hopefully running on all cylinders again.

Nora, that would be funny to watch.. a dog wash station set up next to the car wash.  I don't know if a dog that is anxious about going in a tub would enjoy being hosed off and blown dry at a car wash.  LOL

Ra, rues and observ....anybirdy else..... hello to you too.  SED to all.

Sharon.

Gr-r-r-r-r.  This GOM had a major oversleep.  I don't want to hear any noise or talk.  Late baseball games are ding me in.  The Mets won so have 3-0 lead on the Cubs.  Looks as if we will have a Mets/Royals series.

Don't let my grouchiness get in your way.  Have a grand Wednesday.
