Dang!  Lost my time again trying to send deer and falcon pics.  I think it was about 5 or 6 minutes.  Not real fast, but I did do it.  Thanks Cal.
Dog shame went out to friends too.
No plans for today except maybe a trip to the bank to deposit John's final water bill refund.  Still not having much luck communicating with Shannon's school debt. people at Mohela.  I guess I will have to call them again.  It takes hours to get someone on the phone.  A lot of time is dedicated to security questions, which I respect, but I don't know the answers.  The last time they asked me for my phone number.  I told them and they said no that is not it.  Turns out they had my number from the land line at my old house, and sadly I have no recollection of what that number was. i AM NOT SURE WHY, BUT FINALLY i WAS TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE WHO HAD A LITTLE BETTER KNOWLEDGE AND WE DID GET TO TALK.
sORRY FOR THE CAPS.  fat fingers>.  Oh dang it. My eyes are watering too much.  Got to go. CUL EV1 GBU and GB Ukraine.

Hi again EV1.  My niece in CA just sent me a note that the 3 eggs in the Big Bear Eagle nest are pipping now.  Just FYI.  Also, I been on GSB Cam a lot this morning.  The operator has been giving extreme closeups.

Paulie, I found the Althom pictures.  Thanks. Yes, Warren is way up there pretty close to Erie, and not real far from the New York line.
I remember those little cabins, the hills, and the river views.  The one picture off to the right side that shows  the autumn leaves over the curving dirt road is exactly where Joan and I took our first walk together as man and wife on our honeymoon.  It was in September and looked just like it does in that picture. God I miss her.
I love RRP and their many cams too, but I don't know what Cheers is.
Cal I look at GSB Cam a lot.  especially in the morning, because the operator will often pan around and show the sunrise and boats etc. on the river.  I even got to watch some coyotes once just walking around on the river ice.  They were like playing etc.
I will say good night now GBU all.
Hi jo, Is it okay that I say jo or should I stay with johoward?
Awesome that you found the Althom pictures. Soooo pretty. Oh my to you finding a photo with curving road you and Joan walked together on your honeymoon!!! Reading your post I could sense how very much you miss her. God bless you.

I hope all's good with you both.

cal, Is your area is not in the line of storms moving east tonight and tomorrow.

I don't know if you read the ice story at our cabin in the Cheers thread that I posted last week.
My husband and I had a guy go to the cabin last Friday to look at things. Turns out a french drain is needed in the rear of cabin and also cement blocks called deadman cement blocks to brace the hill in the back that rain and water drains down from top of mountain then seeps through the hill behind the cabin. It then runs down past both sides of cabin and down long S shaped driveway. That's what caused the thick ice.

cal I thought of your barn when excavator mentioned french drain.

Yes Paulie, Jo is fine by me. I am used to it after 10 or 15 years of reading it on the bear , falcon, and eagle chats.
I am going to play solitaire until 11.  Then I am going to watch Jon Stewart, before I go to bad.
I will say GN and GBU all now.

I did the puzzle in 5:26, but it was the second try.  I lost my time again from the first try, because I looked at my email before noting my puzzle time. Oh now I remember I did some buying on Amazon and Walmart.  Thermal insoles for Debbies Muck boots.  I had them resoled, and the cobbler must have taken off the built in insulation.  Her feet were getting cold.
Kinds of grey outside now, but warm.  It is 49 degrees at 9 am.
Don't remember much of yesterday except animal cams and chatting, and have no plans for today. BTW there are now two chicks in the Big Bear Nest Cam.  This nest failed last year.  So we need fingers crossed now for success until fledging. for Big Bear babies.
Lots more solitaire I guess. I just use the normal solitaire with Vegas settings.  I am on "Master" draw three setting for now.  I win about 1 out of 10 I think. I do try other difficulty settings now and then. Even "random" sometimes.   Don't really keep track.  It is, I think, an addiction for me.  I spend lots more time on it than I should.  They say if you continue doing something when you know you should be doing something else you are addicted.  I often find myself not vacuuming or doing laundry until later while playing solitaire.  So I guess I am addicted, or maybe just lazy.  LOL
Bye now EV1 GBU and GB Ukraine.
Tomorrow I will get lunch at the senior center, and get papers back from the tax man.  He says I owe the Feds some, but will get about the same amount back from the state.  So I am good.

hi you guys its a blizzard out there winds over 50 mph sidewalk was ice i had a time trying to get down the sidewalk and to the barn my kitty was not waiting for me i sure am happy i got her house extra warm and lots of food inside for her so got to the barn door and could not get the door open icy i dropped my glove took it off to open the door got the door to open wind caught it flung it open i went in using my walker got in and was sad about my lost glove. lights was blinking since 1 am so i first hooked up cord to lights and stuff inside in case power out i would not be in the dark. it was 50 in there furnace working good saw on news lots without power cause of high winds i can hear it roar right now. jim went out ask if barn was flooded oh yes it is flooded. so nothing i can do about the flooding indy standing in it middle is okay. i put out food water saw raccoonie gave her a cupcake told her stay in here. went back to door to try to get back in and looked down there was my glove! ty whoever so i open the door let the wind take it got out then wind shut it for me but wind knocking my walker all over and i came so close to falling down i was yelling help but jim was still in the tub even if i had my phone i would have to fish it out and try to see the number so i got off the sidewalk into the snow and got to the side door in garage. what an ordeal. scary one too jim is still out in the barn i will just leave that stuff plugged into extension cord cause power is still iffy. please stay on power keep barn warm please.i saw on local news pres zen to ask wh Summary
Trump says Ukraine ready for peace talks, cites Zelenskiy letter
Trump says "strong signals" Russia ready for peace
Trump, Zelenskiy say ready to sign minerals deal
European allies pressured as U.S. shifts stance on Russia
WASHINGTON/KYIV, March 4 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he received a letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in which the Ukrainian leader expressed willingness to come to the negotiating table over the Russia-Ukraine war.
"Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians," Trump said in an address to Congress on Tuesday while quoting from the letter

so i hope eu countries will do something if pres zen has to give up lots of his land and give putin his way i hope eu really sends in troops to send russia on it ways and stay on its way cause trump will not he loves putin he loves evil he is the king of evil

Yikes !!!! I didn't look at the puzzle until I was about 50% done.  Then the first thing I saw was a big tooth.  Until then, I thought it was going to be a dark haired woman.  What a shock, and I might even say , Disappointment. LOL
Took me quite a while too 6:16.  I see what you did there Cal trying to help me not lose my time.  Thanks.  It appears that the "average" time is really your time.  Who would have though,t from the whole world, we would be the only two people here this morning?  I believe there are a lot of silent majorities though, or kibitzers, or whatever you call the ones who silently watch.  You know who you are, Ra and Rues, etc.
Today I told the local senior center I would join them for lunch at 12.  They feed everyone who reserves a spot.  The cost is just $4 or $5.  Then they split up in groups and play cards.  I used to play cards a lot.  So maybe I will play a little.  Can't stay very long today though, because I need to go to Parma and retrieve my tax papers.  Then taxes will be done for this year.
Very windy, but not cold yet. 54 degrees at 8:39.

Hi cal, My heavens to the storm you got! Your descriptions of you walking back to house with wind blowing your walker was scary! I'm glad you got inside safely.

I'm sure your knee or both knees were hurting after you carried that heavy bucket.

Good idea preparing an area now for your romtech. That's so nice of your doctor to order for you to use at home. Why didn't he want you going into an office for physical therapy?

Aww to Indy finding a treat in your pocket.

We don't have an estimate for french drain yet so haven't decided yet.

Hi jo, Okay that you don't mind using jo. Honestly I thought your real name was Joe!  :)

Did you use a romtech machine that cal's getting in her home when you went to PT have your knee replacement?

Your comment about the puzzle cal posted made me laugh.

Your lunch with others sounds pleasant. Enjoy.
