I don’t think Ted could have seen your outpouring of thanks to his Number One Keeper, Sharon Herrell on the Lily the Black Bear Facebook page last night and today, but today Ted seemed to be saying “I second that” with the whoots and tongue clicks he made to all three of the people who visited him today: Sharon Herrell, Spencer Peter, and Carolyn Quick.

I’m also taking those happy words as a sign he is feeling better.

In addition to that, you have already gotten the Bear Center halfway to its $40,000 goal with your early Give to the Max Day giving. Amazing! And Ted will benefit from that.

The fun starts tonight at 11:30 PM with a broadcast by Scott Edgett from the Bear Center. Donna and I get to join in at 7 AM as tomorrow’s broadcasts start. The broadcasts will continue all day into the evening. Donna and I get to share the joy again in the 8 PM broadcast.

hi you guys its 32 here nice full moon lit up everything i think an eclipse of it tonight well like 2 am maybe i thought i heard that on the farm news in the barn did not see any raccoonies but all the food in there was gone i am so happy ted is much better!!! and already raised half the money for the bears!! what a good update.

Gave 23 times and will be back at 7 pm. Don't know hoe to tell if they got any bonuses.   They did say they were pretty happy with progress. at about36000 donated so far.  Does not seem a lot to me.  They need more.  The bears need a lot of dried fruit which his very costly.
Wow it is so dark I had to put lamp on. When i did i glanced at the clock.  It is only 4:20 and already dark. I have to go for a while so I will CUL GB ev1

hi you guys its 28 and our furnace is out i did not know that went to the barn saw moon with black over it came out and bright all over darkness almost was gone came in jim cussing furnace out listen girls barking nonstop jim down pounding on furnace yelling at them i have to go be back love you joho!

Hi you guys furnace is fixed jim left for work my stress went down the driveway. it was the ignitor i thought it was it is what strikes to make furnace put out heat when needed and it was only down to 59 in the house but boy jim acted like it was 59 below zero shoot i had just turned off my window ac in my room earlier. jim left girls quit barking 

hi joho so nice of you to help the bears too and remember your friends! You are a good friend good person  i went to facebook to see if it said how much money the bears got wow over the goal!! and ted is doing good! sharon posted there Ted sleepy but looking great.

snail 3:44 i went to walmart walked in well with my cane moving slow but i got a cart pushing it helps alot filled it fulled too. now back to the barn checked my email jim bought stuff at ac heating warehouse better go to my office desktop print it off

yes go to barn.  Pets all ok for cold in house. Not you.
 That is what I have been doing at the store for a while Cal.  Use cane to get cart then ok.  Almost always a cart in the lot nearby.  Sometimes just hold onto fender if cart is close enough.
Cant say I blame the furnace man for being mad when he is too cold in his own house and not that old.
Fairly nice here today.  Got up real late.  I think it was after 9.  Stayed up with Marge and all those bear chatters too late.  Marge Ireland said it was I think 3 or 4 am and she was watching the special events cam from her bed.  She is so dedicated to our bears.  She is in Dublin Ireland and helped our little Mary find a religious gift shop where Mary shopped for a souvenir rosary for Joan.
Time for lunch here.  Gonna have some soup and sandwich and turn up my heat.  LOL All this talk about broken furnace has given me the chills.  CUL GB all who visit here, and love the animals.

hi joho! oh i can take the cold jim cant this furnace is 16 years old put it in when we built this house jim was saying we should get another one i said then do it we cant afford not too. microwave frig stove freezer and frig downstairs also back then jim got the furnace fix it was something relay he was pounding away scared my mom cats in bedroom next to furnace they were crying scared so i went down sat on the bed watch antenna tv with them i dream of jeanne was on cats will sit and watch tv its company for them too like pearl loves her radio oh time for barn chores i like it when a cart is near when i park too. i really like marge too when i got free time not often i like to chat with her she is so very kind yes loves the bears. i think i will have some vegan vegetable soup and a cheese sandwich tonight yum joho that sounds good gb cul pearl time

Thanks Joho for remembering all of us in your donations.  That is very thoughtful.  It's good to know that Ted is doing so well. and that they've met their goal in donations.

I do the same as you two, I use a cane to walk into the store, and then get ahold of a cart as fast as I can, it works like a walker.  It also protects you from getting hit by other people's carts.  Without that, I couldn't manage it.  I nearly fell in the doctor's office yesterday, and now she wants to talk me into going to physical therapy to help with walking.  I told her I'll think about it.  I have a exercise machine here at home - I guess I'd better start using it.

We put the turkey into the fridge to defrost today, and tomorrow Michelle will finish up the shopping for dinner.  Her daughter, Bella is really into the home cooked dinner, and all the traditions that go with it.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  It's all about family and friends and being together and the expenses are time, travel and food.  Not as easy to commercialize as they have done to the other holidays ... jmo.

For me, being part of the fun online yesterday was heartwarming as I felt your support.

As a result of your support over the years, the North American Bear Center saw some unexpected praise this past year. In June, Popular Science Magazine named it one of the top 50 Science Centers in the nation; and in July, Smithsonian Magazine listed the Bear Center as one of the reasons why Ely, Minnesota was selected as one of the top 15 small towns to visit in the USA.

Thank you for all you have done over the years to make these things happen.

hi neva! so happy for you to have your family to be with! last time i went to see dr buzzard his nurse maria was upset with me wished i would of came before i got into this state. ya well i wish i never gotten into this state i just hope it doesnt keep getting worse that would drive me to go see him again i really dont want to crawl everywhere. yes get to a cart fast usually i go so early no carts around yet. i like harps small store not so far to walk as walmart and of course i have handicap parking deal lost one of them i swear i try to do this and that and lose half my stuff. im sorry what is jmo?

hi joho on our local news this morning chili cook off in grain valley showing pictures thought of you. i forgot to tell you guys other day they got a whataburger now in lee summit patrick mahomes raves about it and on the news showed people waiting in their cars for 7 hours to get food there 7 hours line went on and on johnny rowlands news chopper 9 showing it. crazeeeeeeee now the place hired off duty cops to control traffic.
