SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO JIM, AND WENT HOME.
Need a new lawyer, but how much will they charge?
What does union say about this one.  Does not sound good Cal.
BTW we had a lawyer.  Oddly he called us to his office on a Sunday, and said give him money to continue.  We did.  He immediately called someone and said he is ready for that trip.  My son said he called his drug dealer and placed an order.
Found out later son was right.  Lawyer was charged with stealing from his clients and from his employees retirement fund.  Don't know what else he did, but none of it was good for us.
Good luck.  GB

Pottery Design   ... 18:24        It was 89° and sunny today.  It's supposed to be 90° tomorrow, with 4% chance of rain (it won't).

That's great Cal, Jim got that guy off the road!  I hope you both have an enjoyable day.

hi you guys its 45 3 racconies i spent my extra hour out in the barn this morning.

hi joho that man should of never out on the road in the first place drunk!! he will get what he deserves. i am not worried about clarence doing drugs he is 79 and i dont think he does that kind of drugs but he needs to move on this and uaw will get that done he emailed me back when i told him he has to send me a listed statement of all he has done and request form for additional money he said will do thank you clarence so will see. jim and i think firebug should have to pay our legal fees for this jim will ask about that. some of these questions making jim pretty mad how often do you go there jim says none of your business what does that have to do with your client setting a fire and it burnt our property and he lied to the fire dept about it. now into the holidays. jim cant eat today his colonotest in the morning.

hi neva! it is suppose to get up to 70 here today! tomorrow too i think. next few days im real happy that drunk off the streets! whole 4% of rain your so funny neva now we get 4% it would probably rain. i worked in the barn cleaning out pearls water tank took me two hours to fill up buckets take them outside i was worried she has been drooling really bad i know clover causes that when it has a fungus on it and i googled it and could be really bad for her said get her off pasture or change her hay can cause colic and that is deadly so i has some alfalfa grab and go in a big tub in the kitchen took it out said i would see result pretty soon and i did no more drooling and she loves it told jim get a bale from first cutting it may not have clover and if it does maybe not  that fungus we cant see it depends on the weather and cant control that had lots of rain and humid read some horses got colic but over came it in ohio lots of rain they said there this spring and summer. your area would be great but do you have big pasture land around you? my cousin in vegas use to have a horse and boarded him and it cost a fortune the hay was a huge amount of money.

5:55  had to dog sit Boss during Browns game so deb could trailer park party or what ever.  Saw that they won. YAY  Also saw that KC finally pulled it out against the pushover Packers.  My word if they were any worse it would be a forfeit.
I think Aaron Rogers should be banned from NFL and from making any loud mouth statements period.  He talks like a selfish traitor, and people listen just like they do to others like him. Just because he can throw stuff accurately makes him a good thrower not a good leader of society.
Now he has hurt the Packers.  They were doing well, and now can't do anything.  Like it was a one man team and their one man got covid because he lied about having a shot.
Well anyway.  HAGD God Bless EV1 gn

Dexter Returned and a Day With Donna - UPDATE November 7, 2021
DexterA surprise this evening was a visit from yearling Dexter after I thought all the bears were gone for the year. Will he be back again?

Yesterday, the day before Donna’s birthday, we decided to do something entirely different together. We began by visiting some old memory spots in my first study area of 1969. There, as we drove by Tanner Lake, a pair of trumpeter swans with a juvenile showed us how things have changed over the last half century. Trumpeter Swans were rare back then.

We checked the Greenwood forest fire area that drove bears and smoke to us a few months ago. Now, after two months of near normal rainfall, we saw tiny young plants emerging from the ashes. In a marsh that still does not have standing water, brilliant green grass is emerging from grass mounds that were scorched in the fire.

Then we headed for Lake Superior and the Temperance River near the lakeside town of Tofte. It was like we remembered. Waves were crashing against the shoreline, and the river was rushing through a narrow gorge as usual.

The next stop was the Tofte Bakery for a premature birthday celebration. Instead of cake, we had coconut cream pie—one of Donna’s favorites. We thought about the sugar—but didn’t care. We split a piece that disappeared fast. We bought a couple cupcakes to be her birthday cake today on her real birth date.

On the way home, an unexpected treat was finding the Knotted Pine Inn open in Isabella where everything began back in 1969. A cabin next to the Inn was my base that first year. The community is full of good people who love this little logging town. They have remained there for generation after generation. One said last night that it is the best community in the world. It is a town where everyone helps one other as they did with me big time back when I started. Last night, Donna and I came into the Inn looking around for familiar faces. Suddenly we felt at home as people remembered and stories from the long past began. Many stories to tell in the book.

Today, Donna and I celebrated by going to church together and then having lunch at the Grand Ely Lodge with a couple with the same birthday. Fun.

This evening I was glad to see Dexter as I caught up on things at the WRI .

Thank you for all you do.

Sure like Doc's updates and especially his pictures.  As a biologist he is good.  As a photographer he is great. We are blessed he is techy enough to share all with the world and us.  Thank you God for sharing him with us.
Not much news to share.  Did take Boss for a ride yesterday.  Debbie would not allow it for fear he would hurt me. So I waited until I had him to myself, and took a chance he would behave.  He did it was great.
He is a great ride taker.  He so seemed to enjoy looking around at everything.  No agitation.  No stomach upset.  I took him to my home, but he kept going to the front door.  So I took him for a ride and home to his back yard.  He is great.  Very obedient and gentle to lead and to pet. Heeling and sit stay on command for me.  Just a pleasure to be with.  We got a good look at a huge buck walking across the road right in front of us, and he just followed him with his gaze and did not carry on at all.  It was as if he were enjoying our ride as much as I.
Debbie was proud to hear of our trip and visit.  She has trained him very well.
Yay once more for Chiefs and for Browns.  Always a nicer Monday morning when our teams have won on Sunday it seems.  Even the weather is better with 41 degrees and sunny already at only 8am.
I will have to go out somewhere today.  Not sure where.  Probably go scare some of those big catfish again.  At least get in some kind of walking.
For now I will say adios and God Bless my bear, eagle, and falcon friends.
