Happy New Year, Jewelies! We managed to stay awake and see the new year come in. Hope it's a good one. Heard a couple firecrackers go off at midnight and then it was quiet. Must mean few we're partying. Started raining overnight. Weather guy said we could have freezing rain with very dangerous roads. When I finally got out of bed at 8 this morning the roads were just wet. Rain is expected all day long. I'm so confused about what day it is! I keep thinking it's Saturday! Crow is excited about all the football today. I read in the paper this morning that WVU won their game. Must not have impressed Crow because he didn't mention it!
Cal, you are so smart to put the tarps down to help keep the deck clear! I'm so happy at BooBoo's progress! I made it to both of my appointments on Wed! The drs ofc gave me a script for steroids also showed me a couple more stretches to do for my sciatica. If it doesn't feel better by Monday, I'm calling a chiropractor. I was a little uneasy at the Women's Center where I went for the mammogram. Their small waiting room had 4 ladies waiting! I was right on time so they took me right on in. Those ladies must have come early. On the way out there were now 5 ladies waiting! As I went out the door a lady was waiting in the hallway. She was furious that there were so many in the waiting room! She told the receptionist she would wait outside the door for her turn! With their new 3D machine I got the results back within 2 hours! The new machine hurt just as much as the old one! Everything's good to go...come back next Dec!
Lupe, Izzy is so pretty! Do you like your new cut? I'd love to change my haircut but I've had it this way for so long, I wouldn't know how to change it! As it grew longer during the lockdown, it drove me crazy. So I know I have to keep it short. I just need something new!
Ra, thanks for the list! It's so funny but so true! I think we are both in for a soggy day! Good day to watch football! Do you remember a few years back when your daughter told you about the 2 elderly sisters on Facebook that cussed at each other all the time? That very day I found them on Facebook. Excited to know they were from Clarksburg, WV, which is 70 miles east of here. I've been a fan of them ever since. Sadly Gramma died on Christmas Day at the age of 106! Ginga, her sister is in poor health at age 101 soon to be 102. Thank you and your daughter for telling me about these two special ladies! In so many ways they remind me of my mom!
Jo, any special food today? I've got the sauerkraut and wieners waiting to fix for supper.
Have a nice day, Jewelies! Stay safe and take care! My older sis and Robin got their stimulus checks deposited in their accounts this morning.
