Good morning everyone- just a quick post- will catch up later.

Tennis is on already- Serena plays at 11 i believe.

On Novak- i just had ESPN on and they said big controversy about him. Well =i love Novak but he was wrong and he knows it. As far as i'm concerned there is no controversy- just a bunch of commentators and reporters making it into one. What made me really furious is that long after the decision was made and Novak left as he should have they went on and on and on about it.  All the while Shelby Rogers -an American- was playing and beating a ranked player.  I did see some of it.

So outside stuff is started and will  hopefully finish after Serena's match then 2 mre matches on the evening schedule.   Four American women and one American man still in it! YAY!

Hi Jewelies!  Hope everyone is having a good Labor Day!  I've been cleaning and cross stitching.  Making trinket boxes for my daughter and the girls for Christmas.  Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor for my yearly physical.  Woohoo.

cal... Looking forward to Clemson's game Saturday and Chiefs game Thursday night!!  Seems like it's been ages since we got to watch football!! 

rues... I'm so proud of Robin for saving that poor little kitten!  Is it about time to give it a name?  What color is it?

lupine... Are both of Iowa's college football teams off for the season?

hi jewelies it is 59 here very windy from the north feels great. 65 in the barn 2 raccoonies. i put on the local news talking about the big game with the chiefs. stuff you cant do i got to go to walmart old folks day try to be there at 6 am so better hurry feed everyone jim is picking up sister tonight

Good morning everyone-  52 here, windy and wet- Don't know how much rain we got but it seems to me that i heard thunder once or twice too.

Well- my American favorites are getting whittled way down. Jen Brady plays at 11 AM today and Shelby Rogers plays Naomi Osaka at 6 PM. Both women have super challenges today. Only other American left is Serena who beat a woman who beat her just a couple weeks ago. Frances Tiafoe lost to Danil Medvedev last night. Tough loss.

Do we know what Ted retiring is going to do? Will his cam still be on? I hope so.

ra- happy birthday- cal is so talented- baking a Clemson sake for you!!! Going to the doctor doesn't sound like my idea of a good time though, Do something fun. I just may watch some football Saturday too.

cal- yesterday when Frances Tiafoe was going into the stadium his sidekick (coach, trainer or whatever) had a KC sweatshirt on. I cheered for him!!

Busy morning today. early class then to the city for hubby's checkup.  Probably a stop at Menards on the way home.

Hi Jewelies!  Thanks to you all for the birthday wishes!  Went to see the "vampire" already this morning, but didn't have to pee in a cup!  wonder if it has something to do with ykw...  My daughter brought my birthday cake at 6:30 this morning, she didn't want to take it to school and take a risk of someone else getting into it!  lol  She told me NOT to touch it until they came later for supper.  Having Mexican with them... the girls, too.

hi lupe thank you so much for tennis scores i did not get to watch any yesterday and i did not record it either. so thank you. i will root for tiafoe too sidekick wearing kc! happy serena still in.  in that update from sharon saying ted is retiring also said more update on that on the 25th so maybe will say then i did email dr rogers earlier and asked if teds cam will still be on cant imagine why it would not unless ted ask that it not be and cant see ted doing that.

hi ra! vampire out early i hope you did not look them in the eye they can glamour you if you do that! look away look away...yay no peeing in the cup! that is always a good thing.  what kind of cake did she bring? and mexican food sounds so good!!! yay grands coming too!

hi rues the other day jim mowed pearls pasture it was out of hand today when i was in out of the barn i saw like twenty big crows there walking around talking ask crow what was they doing.

I had asked about ted if his cam was still going to be on when he retired and would he still have some behind the scenes visitors they said this.... Yes, Ted's cam still be on, not to worry.. I watch him all the time also.. Yes, not so many BTS as he won't get too tired out.. We all <3 Tedders.. Thank you for being a fan of LTBB. Have a good day, stay safe out there
