cal, I understand you being worried and scared.  I'm sending good thoughts, and prayers, too, for Sweets, and for you.  What a mess with the phone number mix-up yesterday!  I'm so glad the vet can come out today.  You are a great mom to all your animals, and a caring and loving and giving "mom" and friend to all animals everywhere.   (((Sweets))) (((cal)))

Snowing here but not accumulating very fast- 1- 3 inches predicted.

Cal, whew, glad to hear Sweets is better! Who would of thought he had a sinus cold and a flu bug in his gut?! Now that makes me think Boo might have a sinus cold because his right eye has been running and he occasionally sneezes! If he gets worse then we will be off to the vet. It is so worrisome when they aren't feeling well. Yesterday was Boo's 15 th birthday! He ate his Little Debbie white cakes and some pieces of Crow and Robin's steak. He was a happy camper! The cable was off and on all morning. Then this afternoon it was fine. There was a cable truck down the street so maybe, hopefully, he fixed the problem. If not, Crow will call them again!

Lupe, we are under flash flood watches here. Seems like it has been raining forever. It's chilly, damp and miserable! Tomorrow night temps are supposed to drop into the teens so there will be ice everywhere. But a warm up is coming next week. Sorry Duke couldn't come for a visit. I think we might stay home and eat on Valentines Day especially since it's on  a Friday. Might order a pizza! I put my snowmen away on Feb 1 when I got out the Valentine decorations. It looks so bare without all the snowmen, though.

Jo, yay, for Joan! So happy to hear she is doing so well! Dollar Tree is the best place to get cards!

Have a nice evening! :)

cal, I'm so glad the vet made it out to your place, and it sounds like Sweets is on the mend, and got meds so will hopefully be all well soon.  No smiles from stocky, but it sounds like she was a great helper, and no one got rammed.

G'night Jewelies.  Stay safe and warm.

Good morning everyone- cold and windy here- I haven't been out yet. I cleaned bertha off about 7 last night since the snow had slowed down. But she is all covered again today- blowing snow I guess. Schools here are closed. Really, really not looking forward to the drive to the city.

cal- so glad sweets is better- makes my day!

rues- you seem to have had more rain than snow this winter. Is that normal? We had our new York strip steaks last night. Usually I don't eat an evening meal but that was the only time we could fit it in. Hubby threw them directly on the coals in the wood stove. An experiment and they turned out really good. Enjoy your pizza Friday.

Have a great day jewelies!
