Hi Jewelies! We broke a record yesterday...sunshine and 78! Then last night rain and high winds came but still warm temps. This morning around 6:15 we lost power. It was out until 8. Then no internet! That finally came back just an hour ago! Now our cable is acting up. One minute it is on, next off. Crow says it had better straighten up before the game comes on!   It's 50 and cloudy now. I liked yesterday better!

Cal, my sister is in the hospital! She still had bad stomach pains so her hubby insisted she go to the ER this morning. Dr admitted her. Says she has a stomach infection so treating her with antibiotics. Probably run some tests on her tomorrow. Could be in there 2 or more days! I asked her what was a stomach infection and she said she didn't know! Called our other sister to tell her. She said her neighbor went to the ER on Wednesday with stomach pains and he is still in there! Hope this thing isn't catching!  Crow hasn't mentioned his missing tooth, so it must not hurt! Glad you didn't get a lot of snow but hate that you got that ice! All that food Jim's dad sent home sounds good! Yum!

Ra,  if it's free, I bet someone does take your wood. Last winter we got a load of wood for Robin and it wasn't cheap! Last Monday I started riding my exercise bike again while watching Days of our Lives. Last year I rode it almost every week day until summer came. Thinking with all the yard work, etc, I would get plenty of exercise. I had all intentions on starting back up in the fall. Like I said, I rode on Monday. Saturday night I went into the back bedroom, where the bike was, and I thought oh my goodness, I forgot I was supposed to ride that thing everyday! Lol! I need to make it a habit again so I won't forget!

Lupe, glad that the Shadow story had a happy ending! Like Ra, everything I eat is on that list! Lol!

Have a nice evening!

HI Jewelies!  beautiful day here!!  Lots of people stopping to see about the wood!  lol  Had a guy, number one on the list, come and got some of the hickory to make some bowls.  My neighbor stopped by and she knows someone who might want it... supposed to let me know sometime today.  While she was here, two guys from across the street asked about it.  I think if there's anything left they will take the rest.  Taking a few pieces to one of my customers, too... if I can get it in my car, that is!  lol

cal... WHAT A GAME!!  Oh, my!  In the first quarter, thought oh, no... come on, Chiefs!!  Then the second quarter, they went ahead!  lol  Good game!!  What happened to your 8 inches of snow??

rues... My power went out after some pretty nasty storms had already passed last night.  I usually call them to let them know it's out, but not last night.  I remembered that if you call them about it, they call back to let you know it's back on!  I have a hard enough time getting to sleep, didn't want that call!  lol  They sent me an email saying the power was out, and another one to let me know it was back on.  Out about 2 hours.  Your weather was awesome yesterday!!  Hot!!

lupine... My doctor asked me a couple of years ago to rate the way I eat... good, bad, or ugly.  I had to admit that it was good, bordering on ugly.  lol  Now, it's mostly ugly.  Oh, well... Doing good tonight... chicken legs and green beans.   ;)

Hi to everyone!  Back to the game...

Sure hope the Chiefs win next week, cal... They said they hadn't been to a super bowl for 50 years!!  Their turn, I'd say!
