Juliet Fluffs - UPDATE January 14, 2015

Juliet - January 14, 2014
Juliet - January 14, 2014
With temperatures ranging from 23?F above zero by day to minus 10?F at night, Juliet spent time fluffing her bedding in this 3-minute highlight video from Juliet?s Den Cam.

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds85t-WPtwE
Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/116522038

Most of us are used to YouTube's format but to many, Vimeo is unfamiliar.  When you click on Vimeo's link above, the video will come up just like with YouTube.  However, there are also a couple different ways to view the videos.  One is through the portfolio. http://vimeopro.com/bearstudy/juliet-2014-january which has a nice format with the previous Juliet videos as thumbnails above.

Another method is through Juliet's channel, http://vimeo.com/channels/juliet2014 which is similar to the portfolio but has a "couch mode" feature that is nice.  This will play the videos in order, one after the other and the controls are minimal, perfect for watching on television.  The link for "couch mode" is near the bottom or you can simply bookmark this page: https://vimeo.com/couchmode/channels/861306/sort:preset/116504263.  It could be a handy tool for teachers, but even handier could be the ability to download the videos from Vimeo.  Some schools block both YouTube and Vimeo, downloading beforehand will enable teachers to share the bears in the classroom.

Both the portfolio and channel link can be found on the bottom right of your screen after clicking the Vimeo links we share each night.

Thank you for all you do.

Getting warmer up here, so now I'm trying to decide to take off the cuddle duds. Dlong, so glad you touched base to let us know how you are doing! Three years ago, Mr. O & I both had that horrible stuff you've had. Awful stuff!! In the early 40's I had whooping cough (there was a huge epidemic) and remember coughing like what you've had. Jp, did you ever have it? You and I have probably had pretty much all those diseases--mumps, chicken pox, measles, etc. When I was in my 30's, I was tested for the 3-day measles and had no antibodies, so I had to be immunized. I was teaching 2nd gr. while expecting my son and feel lucky I wasn't exposed to them.Cal, could you please send pics. or a video of Drama?  If you got a tiny dog, it would probably have to live in a cage like your hamsters do for it's own safety! lol Don't fall again??..please.  Ra, have you started eating Cheetos yet? I sometimes get so hungry for chips, but try not to buy them. In the garden of Eden, a potato chip tree would have been so much harder to resist than an apple tree! Rues, has Mr. R started reading again, or is he too busy watching the games? Hi, Willi and pat! Neva, you are not being bossy when you give sensible advice! lol

Good afternoon Jewelies! Like Dlong, I had a post that went poof last night!  I wrote it on the iPad and apparently I don't have that thing mastered yet! :D  Sun is shining, high 40 today! Still frozen snow and ice lingering in the shaded areas. 50 by Saturday!
Cal, Eli Whitney dog shame was a fav! Today's wedding cake eater a good one, too! I agree with the others, a Chihuahua is a no go at your house! :D  Glad you didn't hurt yourself in that fall! Hi to Polly!  Anxious to see pics of your gang!
Jp, sorry that your bed made you think about speakers and receivers!  It might be my bed that keeps me awake all night worrying about things!  :D  While driving down to Key West, Robin said they saw an alligator crossing sign along the road.  She was wondering if you ever saw one crossing the road?
Ra, yep, you are right about Wilson and Stella...no cuddling for them. However, Stella cuddled with Purcey. They grew up together and were best friends. Purcey was a Siamese mix with the most beautiful blue eyes. She died a couple years ago. Now Stella cuddles with me.
Pat, thanks for the pretty white kitty pic loving some milk! Love to hear a cat purring! Hi to Topper!  He needs snow boots!
Obsver, now that football is winding down, Crow started today back down in Robin's basement working on that bathroom! He got mad at something that wasn't going right so he came home. Try it again tomorrow! ::)  I had all those childhood diseases. In fact, the doctor came to the house when I got the mumps!
Dlong, so glad to see you! Hope you continue to improve. Are Georgy Girl and Scarlett from the same litter?

Hi Cal!  Purcey was another one of Robin's ex boyfriend's cats. He had Stella first. Stella fell and broke her leg and since I paid the vet bill, I kept her!  Then he got Purcey and shortly afterwards he had to move back home. His mom said no cats.  So, Robin brought Purcey home! I don't know how he came up with that name.   I thought Robin said the gator crossing was on that long road to the Keys but I could be wrong. Jp will let us know! :D

Alligator Crossings.  On the highway from Florida City, on the mainland, until you actually get into the Florida Keys, at Key Largo, the first 13 miles of the 123 mile stretch are crossing the Everglades which is home  to many alligators and crocodiles.  The are signs along that stretch that mention the possibility of alligators crossing the highway.  On down in the Keys we have alligators and crocs but not as many and Yes, I have seen them in the road but not often.

Hi Jewelies!  Been to the basketball game tonite... we won!  Only two more games, then tournament and then  my oldest grand's Middle School cheerleading career is over!   :)  Hopefully, today was our last day of cloudy, drizzly skies for a few days...  The sun will come out tomorrow...  lol

cal... Drama is growing like a weed!!  I LOVE the pic of him sitting there looking at you!!  He's so cute!  And, such a good boy!  I went to my friend Abigail's house today... they have a new dog... a rescue mixed breed.  She looks  like she's smart, but she's not house broken!!  She's over 2 years old and needs to learn some manners.   :)

dlong... So nice to see you here... I hope you get rid of that cough soon!  I've heard that the flu that is going around with the cough is a tough one to shake.  Feel better!!  Thanks for the pics!

obsver... Believe it or not, yesterday I had my first bowl of Cheetos since before Christmas!!  I had the mumps and chicken pox, too... but, I don't think I had the measles.  Did you get the Shingles shot?  I'm thinking seriously about getting one.  I took the next step towards getting a doctor today.  A lot of them aren't taking new patients, so I finally found one and went today and got an application to fill out to see if they want me as a patient!!  Man, things are different than they used to be!!  Applying to be their patient??

rues... I used to have a cat named Purcey, only you say it like... Purrrrrrcey!  lol  I also had a Purrrrrcilla!  lol   And, a Cat-trina... lol  My Lily has those beautiful blue eyes, too... Siamese in her genes somewhere, I guess.  She's also a little cross-eyed like a lot of the Siamese cats.

JP... Let me know how that mattress feels tonight...  Do you deliver?  lol

Yes Rues ... that was the sound that San San made.  The three Maine Coon cats in the video are gorgeous!  Thanks.   :) :)
