Good morning everyone- thanks jp for  the 10 teddies and Samantha's cubs and the lily.

cal- saw my swallows flying around here every once in a while- they must roost somewhere else now; will miss them when they migrate; did you forget the puzzle this morning? hubby went to a sale yesterday so tank and I had a fun day- got some cleaning done and watched hallmark movies then Steelers. Yesterday was hot and muggy and is already muggy this AM. Tank was ready to go out though. He does like to come in when it's hot out- sacks out on "his" chair but gets up whenever anyone goes through the kitchen just in case some of his food may appear! He still has no idea about human food-not interested at all and I like that. Now duke is another story though he has his favorites- mostly cheese- not in the least bit interested in oatmeal!lol

Looking forward to donna's pictures-Lou is so handsome.

Have a great day jewelies!

It took me 20 minutes to eat all those favorite turnovers.  Wish I would get some puzzle times to brag on.  Instead of always ruining the average.  In case you were wondering who it was.
Ev1 sounds in good spirits this morning.  Hooray.
Go tribe!  Get out the gatorade, and swing those big bats.

Hi jo! I am in my room got the game on. Our announcer said how happy everyone is winning. Thank you Cleveland going for the sweep today first pitch coming up next. You should have a timer on your puzzle when you are working it to the left. I have been trying to add new photos to it but so far it won?t let me. Gots lots of stuff to make a puzzle from. My right knee hurts I think I twisted it now it is really sore. Took two ibuprofen hope that helps.

Hi lupe!

Cal, glad Jim did well with his procedure! What an ordeal you went through getting to the surgery center! I get very nervous when I have to go someplace new by myself! I did something yesterday morning that I had never  done  before! I went with my sister and Sandy and picked apples at an apple orchard! The farm, Hidden Hills Orchard, is just outside Marietta, Ohio, about 20 miles from here. Yesterday you could pick Honeycrisp and Buckeye Gala. Of course, we picked  Honeycrisp the most expensive of the 2 varieties! I picked a peck. Sis and Sandy picked a half bushel! Today I made apple butter in my electric pressure cooker. Crow loves apple butter on biscuits. I kept out 10 apples for eating. Next week or so the golden delicious will be ready. We plan on going back to pick some of those, too. This is an off year for my apple tree so not many apples to pick. Next year she should do well. Sis said near the end of the season the farm has the most delicious apple cider that is made from their 20 apple varieties. Have to go back and get some of that, too. The farm has about 5000 apple trees planted all over the hillsides. You did a very good deed saving the mouse! I know for sure that I could not confront a snake!

Jp, thank you for the red hibiscus! It is beautiful. I have a potted double red hibiscus. A neighbor gave me a clipping from his years ago. His grew so big that he actually built a small addition to his family room to house the plant! Mine summers outdoors and I noticed the other day that it had whiteflies! I treated it and will make sure it is bug free before it comes inside this fall.

Lupe, I scope things out, too, before I have to go to a new destination! Well, actually, I have Crow take me and we scope it out together! Lol! Not much is blooming in my yard now either, except for the annuals and my crape myrtle bush. I thought the winter freezes had killed the crape myrtle but it miraculously came back to life and started blooming last week. My morning glories finally started blooming but they are no match to last year's. I had an abundance of moonflower last year and not one flower has bloomed this year. :( They are one of my favorite. The hyacinth bean are the only vines that are blooming well. My day lilies didn't do well either. What a summer...too much rain and too much heat. Hope we have a nice fall! Did you see Dr Jeff last night? Boo is a 13 year old Weimaraner with fatty tumors like Max on the show. Our vet said with Boo's age she would not do anything about the lipomas as long as they didn't bother him. Sad about Max's situation.  :'(

Jo, you were so lucky someone nice turned your glasses into the lost and found! I'm probably worse than you with puzzle times! Lol!

So sad about John McCain's passing. I didn't always agree with his politics but he was a true war hero.

Have a nice evening, Jewelies!

hi jo! congrats on the win today!  my right knee hurts me so bad while watching some of the game i was sitting on my ottoman i tuvk my leg behind me but could not my knee was swollen and i looked behind it all black and blue! swollen. i think one of my knot head puppies or calihoula running thru the kitchen hit me from behind ran into the back of my knee. calihoula had one of the new stuff animals thst dog ran outside with it. i dont want those out in the yard have to mow tear up stuffing all over the yard that i have to pick up. blow over the fence in pearls pasture and somedayshe may go out and eat some grass. hard to walk i walked down the deck saw it laying there i got down stuck my arm thru the slats almost there got an arm penny comes running up grabs it takes off for the end of the yard. :( got them in and walk down and get it. went to the barn looked over at the thermostat doing good today at 78 then i saw mr snake going up that post up where my birds roost why you he saw me headed back down i was trying to get over there all my shovels and a little hoe i got it hoping to loop it around him but he went into sweets area. sweets got his eye on him looking at me i told him no leave it alone anyone gets hurt going to be me. so he went to sweets other door i got a bucket was going to put it by the crack in his door but he was already thru that crack went under my other buckets i grabbed his tail but he moved on under. i could not see him. he was way under all my square bales. so will try again. sweets he was going back to his bed but he stopped and looked under his bed first! jo if your timer its okay you can just tell us your time if you want msin thing you have fun working it!

It is not my timer that does not work.  It is my eye hand coordination.  I get a time each time.  Just not one to brag about, ever.  Yes Tribe is what we call our Cleveland Indian ball team.  Today they looked very good.  The Royals played a good series of interesting baseball.  Glad if we have a bad day it is to Royals not the Redsox.  Time for bed.  Good night all.
