 what a great day for horses.  a lot of exciting stories.  pearl and soda can be proud of their four footed friends today.  i was very impressed with the race gronkoski ran.

Cal, What an exciting race. I'm so glad it wasn't raining! They said Mike Smith was the oldest jockey to win the triple crown! Cool!   Have you named feral yet? I agree, Pearl is an amazing horse, too!

i am going to say this one time for all. when i post it is for all of you even if i do not name names.
 so cal,jp,willi, ra, rues, nora,lupine,eagle,et al, try to enjoy my posts and forgive me for not following your protocol perfectly.  i am doing the best i can.

joan watched the race with me.  i am blessed.  now i will go get us some supper.  we will have a gyro for her and some chicken paprikash for me.

good to see our ted doing so well.

hi jo! hi joan!yes great day for horses!  i was impresses with gronkoski too! mike smith i was yelling for him to let justify go and he did! its like he knew how to ride him! i so understand that. best of all no one got hurt.i dont know how impressed pearl was lol you know pearl!  enjoy your dinner! i enjoy your post!

hi rues! mike smith is 52. i loved him talking about riding before walking! i get that! how he love horses hated school rode instead and his school saying he would not amount to anything and he said watch me! hope they watched today! well my yellow feral in the garage with retro is feral no need a name for new feral. he is white , gray and some brown at first i was afraid he was a girl three colors but a boy! what a race rues! oh right before they took off augie wants to go to the bathroom i said you can forget it buddy! have to wait till race is over i see replay watch the trophies all of it! his dad at the lake this weekend. augie and griz been in my room all day today all day yesterday out to use the bathroom back in my room ate in here. freezing in here!

hi jewelies! it is 77 here feels like 80 already humid today they said will be 97 heat index 103.  i am still thinking of justify and that race. i saw they gave him a nice shower after his race.

Good morning everyone- ty jp for the red roses teddy and dawn- i'm a little late today- severe storms at 11:30 woke me up- hubby was still up- we watched awhile- some rain and 5 seconds of hail- took a little to get back to sleep; only .6 inch of rain. This morning is very still with storms predicted again this afternoon.


cal- ty for posting the race- I just get nervous worrying that a horse will get hurt so I really appreciated your post- what a beautiful animal and an older jockey. Good for him. I bet he has an ac in his barn just like Pearl and Sweets. I never watched SOAP but it would make  for a good day marathon  during bad weather. I wrote down the order of the Potter books- ty. Yay- we're going for a ride on the 4 wheeler.

johoward- i read all the posts- don't need names- love them all- your meal sounds good and sorry about your cavs- just wait til next year!

rues- i also love Dr. Jeff. And i was thrilled with last night even more than usual because one of his other vets, Dr. B., went to a raptor rehab place. He said he's been volunteering ther for 10 years. He also worked at a zoo- has lots of experience with all kinds of species not regularly seen in a vet clinic.  Anyhow, he saw a juvenile turkey vulture who had lead poisoning. He was released at the end of the program- beautiful.  But- he explained how toxic lead is to birds- and the main source of the problem is from hunters. He is my hero. Just imagine the number of people who today know about lead ammo-Wow.

cal- that puzzle with the tv was a hoot- ketchup- who knew?!

Need to think about breakfast- rafa at 8 AM.  Have a great day jewelies!

hi lupe got my chores done for now in my room augie griz in here houla too. trump plane landed in singapore he walked off the plane kim already there. this is historic like they said, no big deal he did not want one already in the waiting car. took off. air force one plane is so cool. i posted the race in case someone afraid to watch. i know do not want a horse hurt or a jockey but i knew this race would be okay. not many horses racing that helps. horses are aware of other horses next to them justify wanted to be the lead horse from the get go. tuco was like that. she wanted to lead. roxie wanted to kick anyone behind her so when i rode her or jim had to be last one. on trail rides she was at the rear. soda good did not matter where she was my sister susie rode her on trail rides. had all three back then. pearl would never even be a trail riding horse! that is okay i love pearl. getting ready to watch rafa on at 8 am thanks for that info. oh i am sure justify has ac in his barn too! i am sure he has every bit the good care that mine do. i saw after the race mike bent over and kissed justify on his neck. i have done that a zillion times. i really like that mike smith. okay almost rafa time jim came home last night augie already in bed with me augie ate potty bavk on my bed jim was looking for him said to me i lost my dog to extra ac! yep for now you have. you will like harry potter lupe! the movies are good too. each book is a new school year. same cast for each movie so you could see how all them were growing up.

hi lupe just saw roger waters in the stands well his seat up front of pink floyd i had to leave the match for a bit check on barn kids comb outs spray down more food make sure ac and fans working good they are been a good match esp since rafa winning so far well theim ahead on this match lots of screaming here too but its okay its rafa.
