T40, wonderful articles, as usual!  The takeaway seems to be, humans can be a bird's best friend or worst enemy.  I'd like to think there are more of the former than the latter.  Thank you for researching these and sharing with all of us!

(Thought the baby owl hearing thunder for the first time was just adorable!)

Just caught this on msn.com.  Hilarious footage of a hawk that saw what he thought was an easy dinner sitting under a tree.  Little did he know that the plump little bunny was actually a lawn ornament!
