This Barred Owl arrived at our intake center stuck on a glue trap. He was chasing a mouse that got stuck on the trap and ended up with his feathers stuck as well. We were able to free him of the glue trap and have been using Dawn baths to get the excess glue off.
Please keep in mind that glue traps are never a good option! They result in animals' pain and suffering and do not solve your problem. There are other more humane options, please call us if you need suggestions!
