Thanks to T40 for sharing oldguy's post of this article, and thanks to oldguy, too!

WOW!!!  That is a fascinating story!!!  Wayyyy worth the read time!!!  It is very easy to read, and written by Tex A. Sordahl, Professor of Biology at Luther College!!!  Tex, you are a wonderful writer, in addition to having done some incredible research that you published and shared some of in this story.  How incredible!!!  And thanks to Tex Sordahl for inspiring so many of his students!  All of his students who gathered the data for the research of that Decorah Turkey Vulture massive roost (up to 300 birds!!!) went on to complete advanced degrees in avian ecology!  Wow!  ... also impressive!!!
