BL - I had one forum member message me, who does not post in the Beak say that she could log in, but when she went to post she got the “database error” message.  I use Win 11, and have had a few of the problems, but for the past few days have not had any problems posting.  I am in an iPad at the moment, so waiting to see what happens when I hit post.

I don’t think the problem is Beak specific, it’s a whole forum issue.

I agree LisaG.

Hello Beakers

My method of participation in the forum, is to never log off - I also have my computer set to go to hibernation after 4 hours of idle.  So that is how I am listed as 3 most active at 266 days of online.  But I am seeing that member/user stats seem to be very much unusual - record number of users has not been threatened since 2011 - yesterday is reported to now be a new record at 1325 and today is listed at 1290.  We have not passed 500 in a day for years.  It also shows that we have only 98 registered members.  There are several stats that just seem way off and out of norm compared to the last 10 years.

OG, I see what you are saying about the Forum RRP - Statistics Center and the RRP - Info Center.
Some of those stats do appear to be quite out of their normal ranges.

• Especially the "Most Online numbers" of late from the Statistics Center.

• And the "Most Online Today: 1536. Most Online Ever: 1536 (Today at 02:39:33 PM)"
Compared to the normal #'s at the Info Center.

• The number of current registered Forum Members of 98 seems odd to me also.
Compared to the New Members column.

Now all of these Stats & #'s could be totally screwy due to a whole host of forum glitches and updates.

Think past Post Count # resets at random.   ;D

As far as a compatibility issue, I think browser problems or security software over operating systems.

My system is Win 10 with Google browser and Avast security. - I have usually found a way to post, but when a problem occurs it does take time - sometimes I give up and try later, instead of fighting it.

Last month we had discussions about Estes Park, Colorado.  Here is a 5 hour drive dashcam timelapse condensed to 10 minutes.  This ends at the docks on Lake Granby.  Here is more info on the Lake...  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Granby

Yeah somehow I doubt there were 1,649 Guests viewing this forum at 6:24 AM EDT this morning as the Forum Info Center is reporting.  ::)   :o   ???

But if there really was that many Guests viewing the forum this AM something is amiss.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, hope you and Ali are enjoying your time together...Is Mike still home? I agree, Iris keeps a very nice nest, she is a good nestkeeper!  Thanks for the Hellgate videos, love watching them...

oldguy, good FAST drive on the Trail Ridge Road!

Phyl, love the good night picture! Hope you and yours are all doing well (Jim, Maggie, and your knees!)

Lisa, love that crocheted looking cup, very unique! You fine the most interesting cups of coffee! Oh, Ed told me he was up late a couple of nights ago and he heard a noise out back. He got the flashlight and went out on the deck to look - 3 BIG raccoons on the bird pergola snacking from the bird feeders!!! A few years ago we had a duck couple stop by in late afternoons, he would constantly scan the area while she ate the bird seed that was on the ground. It can be a regular zoo out there at night. We have had opossums and babies as well!

tsk, prayers for Tim's cousin. My sister Cathy's husband Steve has just been diagnosed with Parkinson's. She has suspected it and finally got him to go to the Dr. His Dad and Dad's brother both had it. I didn't know it was hereditary! He has been declining a lot in the last year, at least now she can get some help from their Long Term Care insurance. How is Tim doing?

A truck loaded with thousands of copies of Roget's Thesaurus crashed yesterday losing its entire load. Witnesses were stunned, startled, aghast, taken aback, stupefied, confused, shocked, rattled, paralyzed, dazed, bewildered, mixed up, surprised, awed, dumbfounded, nonplussed, flabbergasted, astounded, amazed, confounded, astonished, overwhelmed, horrified, numbed, speechless, and perplexed.

It's 220 million years old... Yes, 220 million! What you're seeing in the picture isn't a piece of art or a gemstone... but a real tree that grew on Earth since the dinosaurs' era! This ancient tree fossilized over millions of years, transforming into a colorful quartz rock, and some of it—very rarely—turns into opal wood, where the wood cells are replaced with shiny opal material! This stunning scene is from the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona, one of the strangest and most beautiful geological places in the world. Nature doesn't become extinct... it preserves its memory in stones!
Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Good Morning Beakers

BL - Yea, I highly doubt there is that many too logging on this early.  ;D

Lani - Thank you, I did have a good day.  Hope all is going good at your house.  :D

oldguy - Thanks for vids.   :)

Phyl - Thanks, I loved the crocheted cuppa, too.  The B&B kitties are good.  The one who we think is the Dad to all the B&B kitties has been acting a lil strange to the kitties, who are a year old now.  He is like chasing after them, so Jeff thinks he is trying to show his dominance.  He does not hang around all day, but the B&B kitties do.  It's more their yard than his.

clynn - Funny you should mention duck in your yard, we had a Mallard and it's mate in the front yard on Friday afternoon.  We do not live far from the creek, but they walked up and down the street before flying off.

karen, tsk, kb, tig, Puff and all - Morning  :)

This is getting really old

From page 261 - I take notes...

PHYL  Love the water color post from both yesterday and today ( p 262)

LISA  Beautiful crocheted cup and saucer - Now I think practical - How to clean  LOL

LANI    I think Iris and NG will show up together next year.  Hope they have done good IDs on him.

p262    CLYNN  Oh no  raccoons on the feeder - Can you place a baffle anywhere to stop it?  Sorry to hear about Steve.  Did not know it was hereditary either - My dad had a variation of it.  Eventually had a stomach tube for feeding for a year...Blocking on the name right now.   Thesaurus  LOLOL   Cool opal in fossilized tree.

Put a bowl on the floor all day yesterday - Only a sniff from Lulu a couple times  LOL  Not a bowl sleeper and I do think she is "left-pawed"

Phyl, bright and cheerful Good Morning pics! Very fun and interesting 365! She is sure making sure the nest is tight and cozy! I wonder if the fluff is from a cottonwood tree. How well I remember my record player when I was a teen in the 60s! I would pick out the 45s I wanted (still have them), make sure they had the adapter in the hole and put the stack on the turntable and start it up! My first 45:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bh4se9YMV3A  My first album:  https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_k-veiugFTO-U0Rte8_zRi8t_617E9wDwg   Do you remember your firsts?

Lisa, very pretty bouquet from the garden to go with the coffee and cookies! I thought it was you that said they had ducks in their yard...no? My mind is going...I had better catch it!!

tsk,I remember Mom saying that Dad's doctor said he had something that was a 'cousin' to Parkinson's, but I can't remember what it was called either...  I don't think there is an easy way to deter the raccoons! But I am going to find something. They are good climbers!  Well, dang, Lulu is not a bowl cat!
