Old Guy, was this an over thestove install or counter model! Most everything I cook is done in the microwave as well. I guess Thanksgiving will be another deal, but not much goes in there occasionally I cook something on top of the stove like pasta.. you had quite a day and I hope you’re relaxing now has any snow started there I hear it came down in Peoria, not expected to stick. good night bakers SEDS

Tsk I live in Nashville near the Metro area. More accurately 'Cane Ridge' where one of the Civil War battles was fought---known as the "Battle of Cane Ridge'. I'm just a few miles from the battle site.
Baz I heard the news about Rafael Nadal retirement on FNC's 'American's Newsroom" this AM. It looks like he might be taking hard. What knee relief !? LOL Those injections are tightly regulated and cost $750 each even w/ Medicare there's a ded for me. I was told they usually last up to 6mos. And, not to come in at 6mos because I was told that's longest the benefits last either. If I'm not in utter anguish --- . CLynn ROTFL 'turkey legs'; tks for up date photos on Wanda's house Karen never tried Publix's dressing. I buy Stove Top Turkey dressing --add fresh onion and chopped fresh celery and real butter i think we're getting a boneless T. breast. I miss my Mother's baked yams and marshmallows. Lisa I was gonna say that cake would be great with a hot cuppa Joe in AM OG tks for links and all. I'll check 'em l out later. It's ham for Christmas. Maggie will just luv that!! Well I have 8 mins left before one of my fave nighttime progs is on. So best get crack'n. Good Night Everyone... SEDs |

Hello Beakers
My relaxing day off from work went down the drain at lunch time.. My Microwave of 1990 manufacture, refused to work for my lunch. 90% of what we eat at home gets heated by the microwave. Checked it out and determined that a part of the control board got too hot. All of the safety switches were working fine. So spent another hour on line to research for a replacement. Then went to the local Best Buy (only local brick and mortor to carry what I wanted) to buy a replacement. Got something to eat on the way home, since I missed lunch and then set it up and did online registration - so 7 hours later.... KB WOW that is amazing. I've never known a "10 yr" battery to last 10 years. How is Chris doing by the way? Photo by Mariah looks like a painting.
LISA I looked up Berry Chantilly cake - It is original to Whole Foods!!! Their's is the original recipe. SO...I've been looking for a dessert for my girls party on the 9th! I ordered one and will pick it up on the 8th - Can't wait to try it. We have had our new tree up with the lights on since we bought it and Tim said " I like it this way " LOL But I love ornaments so I will put on a few of my favorites (like all of them) NOT PHYL " Wish bone" LOLOL With the Country Music awards tonight - are you located anywhere near that location? BAZI Wow we now have some backround on that "under the weather" knee situation. I'm also glad you don't have to deal with that instability again either. YIKES That fall in the street was a nightmare. The interesting thing about sports is having to retire at 38 from play!!! So many sports are like that. CLYNN Thanks for those emotional pics of Nadal. Still such a young man. LOLOL on the turkey legs cartoon - will show Tim |

Good evening, bakers clynn, and baz I love the pictures of the Tennessee mountains and have driven the three states Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia in that area many times , absolutely spectacular and something about the foliage makes the area seem soft and enveloping. I hope that any damage that has been done to the areas as soon replaced with new growth, so the bare spots are filled in quickly . I have read that a lot of topsoil has washed away so we’ll have to see what will be growing without it.
I’m enjoying the discussions of SNL and of course love them as they started at second city in Chicago in 1959 in the 1600 block North Wells. What a great time it was to be a young adult and have that as your playground.. yes, there is sure a lot of information on the tax records and I did get information on both of my neighbors through property records which are available online. I have talked with both of them at this point and do not believe anything will be done until after the first of the year, as I believe, they both are very short of money date house, which is not directly behind me, but his fence is part of my backyard. Fencing is owned by the widow of an Air Force person, and is not one who talks her son lives there with his wife and two children, and seems to be in charge of the property , I believe what he told me although he stopped talking before he got it all out. Yes that he collected $16,000 for the fence following the first hurricane he obviously spent the money on something besides fencing he is not able to get more money for the same fence. The other house is owned by a young woman who grew up in the house and bought it from her father. She not only has fencing but trees to deal with and I don’t believe either were in her plans she’s employed by a bank, so maybe they’ll be kind and give her a small loan to buy her out of this mess She said the insurance company is giving her a runnaround about the fencing. Now, I wait and see. I have two turkey thighs in the freezer and will buy and a small pan of dressing at publixs, I will look around for other sides and if nothing looks good get a sweet potato.h Fresh 10 pounder for .christmas. |

Got Odin from the bus at 3:25. Winter is here this evening. Then we let Duffy out of her kennel. She was shy to let me put on collar, and would not allow the huge cone near her. It is to protect her staples, but she says NO!
I love her. She was out just enough to pee a little. Then both she and Abby wanted in out of the bitter cold wind. She hunted all through the house, I thought for Brian, but she finally stopped to poop in the living room on the hardwood. I scooped it up with two paper towels and we went outside for a little while. It will take patience I guess. She is not yet confident on climbing stairs. She is smart though, and waits until the top step is wide open before she starts up. I think in a few more days she will be bounding up those steps. Well I am cooking chili for supper now. I need to tend it. BYE EV1 GBU. |
