Tsk, the base of the stuffing is very easy. I have to make my basting broth for the turkey and that's the liquid I use for my stuffing and gravy.

Oldguy, nice microwave .... Catman Chris LOL!! I'm sending that to one of my walking buddies. They have a 9 month old kitten, who likes the Christmas tree.  ;D

Phyl,
love the turkey frilly drumsticks. LOL! SED.

Happy to make you smile if only a little bitty Phyl.  Not really a Lampoon fan.  Wasn't it basically a guy series of movies?

Bounce

Our snow luckily melted by the time I left at noon for my 1 o'clock dental appointment. It was a bit stressful though due to emergency vehicles racing through traffic on both coming and going and a tailgater/speeder.

I'll need to make the hour drive in January to get a 30 yr. old crown replaced. Joy.

Another day of going back and rereading posts.  ::)

Tsk tres apropos graphic this AM, my mom bought a bag of Pepperidge Farm dried bread crumbs seasoned them and added  fresh chopped
celery and onions and butter. I'm the one that 'doctors' the premade stuff up.   Tsk and all with snowfall...keep warm and don't go far from home, etc. But you  all are seasoned winter folk so don't need to mention. Just makes me feel better---I guess.

Hi Puff I gotta laugh at your '...wee bit nippy.' comment this AM.  Jim says ' A wee bit .-----.' he got that from Nat'l Lampoon's
"Christmas Vacation".  ::) ::)

Karen you have 'cheeky' Christmas lights with a mind of their own. ;D  What is Santa giving Piper for   Christmas?

Lani thanks for the 'Sloth Report' today.  Glad Ally will be w/ you both at Christmastime.  ;)    You always sounds like a fantastic cook and in good company w/ CLynn, Tsk and KB.  ;)   Like Tsk, I noticed the 3 toes on Waylon.

KB
all the best with the battery o/D lights;  :o video of vehicle crashes on interstate; Glad Chris is doing better

OG many thanks for info on microwave ovens. Luv my turntable---stirrer huh? That's cool.  How funny Catman Chris' Marmalade and caged
Christmas tree. I always fret with snowmelt that may leave w thin film of water thatr's not evaporated then freezes and there one goes.!

Tsk  would luv to see that stained glass kitty puzzle when you've completed. You know,
that might make a cool Christmas card to send out. IMHO

Kb - Wow, the video of the crashes on the road.  Glad to Chris is feeling better.

Tsk - Did you get a lot of snow from that lil blizzard? I hope you post a pic of your puzzle when done. 😊

Phyl - Thanks for the 365.

Lani - A honey baked ham sounds delicious.  Glad to hear that Aly will be home with you for Christmas.

Good night, everyone 😴

Kb - this year we a selling a light set that uses a timer and battery bank - box says that it will last 33 days of 6 hrs run time/day on a single charge.  But the details say that 33 days is if the temps are above 40 degrees and it is not designed to be used lower than -14 degrees.  It also says to replace it at 18 months if used in cold weather - 24 months in warm.  It does not tell you what the makeup of the battery is - ie lithium, alkaline, etc.  It has to be charged with a USB-C cable and takes 6 hours to recharge. I will not be recommending this item to anyone in Iowa or north.

There is not way that a new circuit board is going to be available for a 30 year old microwave...
This what I got - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-2-0-cu-ft-countertop-microwave-with-sensor-cooking-and-smart-inverter-stainless-steel/6577451.p?skuId=6577451

What I am going to miss the most about my old microwave is that it did not have a turntable - it used a "stirrer" to evenly distribute the microwaves.

We got a tracking snow around 1am last night - streets/sidewalks were clear by this morning - it got up to 42 this afternoon, so no sign of it now.

PHYL   Beautiful and timely 365 today  ;)

LANI   Lots of work goes into your dressing.  I have my Mom's recipe but will not make it unless I have more than 3 for dinner  LOL
Great to hear Aly will be back for Xmas.  She's putting a lot of mileage on her car.  ;) ;)   I noticed that about Waylon.

Set up my jigsaw table last evening and sorted 1,000 pieces in 90 minutes.  I know I said I was not doing 1,000 pieces any more but CLYNN provided the link to the stained glass cat puzzle that really grabbed me - don't do that again CLYNN - so that is what I'm starting with.  :o :o 8)

No sleep for the weary Paulie.  Drama.  MY nephew made it through rehab for a whopping 2 days. It was a mess no one would pick him up so he threatened suicide to 3 different people so  someone clled th ecops he ended up in hospital for suicidal tendency. He is going home today.  The younger brother is supposedly moving out.   It's a friggen mess!!!!  Long story but I officially wiped my hands of my nephew I cant do this anymore. I did all I can do.  I will help the younger one as best as I can. The older one will not be happy if the younger one decides to leave (which I pray to god he does)

tsk  Update on Mother N's handiwork - Everything is now covered and white here, too.  Streets, walks, drives, roofs.  It figures!  I just finished Great Britian web trip now have to go out for other appointment.  Work is it should stop 1P - 3P.   It might be warm enough to warm streets/walks and melt.
Previous mentioned rush hour will be horrid none the less.

kb  Snow on the  panels - oooops.  I did something similar. I did cover my water fountain (still has to be drained so it won't crack).  However, I never plugged in the heated water bowl on the patio.  Water froze and the snow now covers the ice.  When I return later I'll slush through snow to plug it in.

Later

by whoops I meant not feasible to run a solar paneled outdoor Christmas light net set here in MN..I won't buy it again and will replace with a battery powered one soon. Nope, you won't find me daily deep in snow grabbing the solar panel, if I can find it, and bringing it inside to charge.
