This is one of the spots that I'm very interested in band numbers. At least one falcon is hanging around now. I'll try to get the camera in on it for band numbers...talons crossed!

Falcon perched on roof of house
At night the dome of the state capitol is all lit up.
Sunrise here is AWESOME.

I'm not in the office for some of this week, but I'm really hoping to be able to operate the camera here next week. We have a male hanging around and I would love to know who he is!

8.15 am Falcon perched on bar.
A falcon comes daily and perchs on corner of roof.
9;30 am Another falcon arrives and they sit together awhile.

3 pm Saw 2 falcons there earlier today.
One of them stayed quite awhle.
Someone forgot to UNZOOM the cam -
so all we see is corner of roof

I was hoping to catch one of them this am. But I'll unzoom it for now. Caught a male yesterday! He was Elken 81/S bl/blu, a 2023 hatch from the Colonnade Building in Golden Valley, MN. He's a young one!

I still cant READ the band, but today I got this snip -
these 2 sat in these spots a long time between 8 and 9 am
11 am They are both still there.
Female went inside briefly - alone.
Male stayed on cement curb beside house.
2 pm She stayed all day!
The male flew to some place in front of her as she perched on the box - and he sat and preened - and we only saw his shadow. There must be an outer bar we cant see.

First perchs on box perch, flits to cement curb, leaves.
9.30 Female arrives, perchs on "her corner' of roof of house.

7.30 am Female arrives, perchs on roof, changes where she perchs.
9.30 male arrives - out on curb.

She's really a sharp-looking falcon! I'm going to zoom in on the roof spot - I can do that without moving the camera.

Around 5 or 6 pm both birds showed up.
Cam position changed.
The birds took the weekend off.
No sign of them Sonday, and a 5 minute visit Saturday

I havent seen them all week til now - other than brief appearance.

8.30 am I saw 3 falcons! One inside crouched low, flat.
2 perched outside.
The one closest to cam is H21 - I am *fairly sure. 8)
Whoever WAS inside, crouched, appeared they were begging.
I DONT KNOW WHAT I SAW!
Amy was there, she zoomed cam in on bands.
10.45 am All 3 are still there!
One flew off for awhile.
I DONT WANT them to fight, I just dunno why they dont.
I think its a male and 2 girls, but I just dont know.
1 pm Falcon #3 is back again. She left awhile.
I wonder if one is sick.
2 pm they all flew off.

6.45 am A pair of falcons already.
One inside callilng, one perched cam right.
9 am Female on roof, male sitting on curb. Normal. whew.
Male flew to box, wanted to 'dance' - she stayed on roof.
both flew off for awhile.
10.40 am male on curb, female out of sight on tip of perch extention.
flies from perch to roof.
3 pm Both on cam,
Female in box - male on curb
They've been here - and away - and back all day.

April 1, 2025
5.15 am A falcon arrived.
5.16 am Another falcon arrived.
Wrestling flapping biting ensued
5.18 am BOTH tumbled out.
5.37 am A falcon flies into the box and sits there.
1.45 pm BOTH showed up. Male looks wounded.
I've noticed the falcon has been uneasy - keeps looking up - tracking ....
Perhaps now that a fight has happened, we can have peace - and an egg.
Is there a shortage of adult female falcons?
A note on Explore indicated new male here, then 2024 male arrived later.
Note GSB & Lacrosse - both with 2 year old females.
( this is NOT an April fool joke )

The links you are using terminate when the stream ends. We generally get it back online pretty quickly, but if you are using dead links, you won't know that. If the cam is live, it will be streaming to the two urls I just posted.
