Sunday morning, the cam ops had a look at N2B's cornfield!

DH2 overnight in branches above N1, then to the Y, then to a dead tree that might be one of the maples.  Correct or elsewhere?

STL, when cam pulled back, the tree DH2 was in is between the pines by hatchery.

Lisa, thanks for the location, so I can change the pic label.

Nice views of the almost-full moon rising, and of DH2 settling in for overnight on the Y.

The prairie area next to the Retention Pond is in full bloom this week.  Just gorgeous and lots of variety.  Go Native, Iowa!

Thanks, Lisa.  The monarda-bee balm is also called wild bergamot.  If you rub a leaf and smell it, it's like Earl Gray tea, which is flavored with bergamot.

Morning closeup views of DH2 on the Y, looking really good.  DH2 and a parent spent some time in favorite perching areas upstream from N1, but no pics.  And a belted kingfisher perched on a power line over the creek, not far upstream from N1.  Small bird, huge bill for catching little fish.

And again this morning after the fog cleared away.  Lots of calling for food, no results so far.

Beautiful portrait of DN2, STL. I hope there was food available or provided somewhere within the day!

Lisa, DH2 is sure looking good!  Couple pics from just before yours, I think.  DH2 spent quite a while on upstream perching, too.  No food drops that I saw so far today at posting time of almost 1:00.

At ATF, did anyone mention any work to be done on N1 after DH2 disperses?

Thanks for the photo note, BL.  Nice to see all the happy faces at ATF.  Was one of them you?  I understand for privacy, you may not choose to reveal.

Early morning today, a small heron, pretty sure a green heron, perched for a time on a dead branch before flying away. Distant photo shows the location relative to the bridge, see the orange circle.   One of the parents spent several hours on a leafy branch above N1.  No sightings of DH2 so far today on the rewind.  Lots of crows calling.
