4:00 AM and bobblehead is out of shell.  Time for RRP to reveal naming.  And where's the chow?

Thank you all for the remarkable screenshots!

From RRP's FB page:

Here's HD and his first hatchling with a little #cutenessoverload for your morning caw-fee break! https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/cutenessoverload

We are over the moon about hatchling DH1! The little pip squeek shook its shellmet off at 4:10 this morning and HD arrived for his first shift at around 7:05 AM. I love the care that he takes getting into the nestbowl for his first-ever brooding shift. It's hard to believe that the tiny, helpless bit of fluff nestled under his feathers will grow up to become a ruler of the skies! DH1 is HD and HM's first hatchling and the 40th(!) eaglet hatched on this territory.

Congratulations to the Hatchery eagles on the arrival of HD1.   You go, kiddo.    ;D

Love all the pics and gifs, and thanks to the cam ops for great closeups.

The fish that HD brought was still alive and flopping!!!!
