Another stick for N1.  I think it is in desperate need of some soft stuff!

It is starting to flake in Decorah - nothing in my area, except the sun disappeared and clouds moved in.  None of the local forecasters sound at all certain about what we are in for.  I hope the dire news for those especially north of us turn out to be a noshow.

Puff, the eagles don't seem intimidated by cold, wind, and snow!  Seems like we have seen eggs laid in snowstorms in past years, correct?

Fish head, then fish body on the nest this afternoon. HD brought both and I'm wondering if it was the same fish that he separated into two pieces for carrying.  HM got in on the eating parts both times. She's well-fed, so maybe an egg later today or tonight.

As STL said, its been fish on the menu today.  A few snaps that I took today.  The scary looking fish head that HD brought in, and HD enjoying the 2nd headless fish he brought in, don't know if they were the same fish.  And, HD on T1 earlier this afternoon.

Hi, all! Just checking in.... Looks like we'll see eggs soon! Once the egg cup appears, & HM spends more time on the nest, we know eggs are imminent. As the saying goes, trust the eagles.... HM will know when it's time!

Monarch, It's the NWZ -- No worry zone.
Great pics from Lisa.  Could that fish head be a walleye?  Or trout?  Not a sucker as they do not have teeth (I think).

Several deer in the horse pasture as the light faded this evening.  And a mouse visited the N1 nest just after dark. See the eyes reflecting the nightlight?

STL - Someone told me a trout and said, see the spots on the head?  All I see is teeth...I didn't know fish had teeth.  :o

Another snowy morning in Decorah - HD to nest bowl first, HM arrived a lil while later to the nest, HM on the Y, and HM in the nest bowl keeping it dry
