V3 is between 5 and 6 years - likely a first time Dad

Sunrose Gabby in nest with a new male.
Later on another eagle - #3 showed up.  Mods unsure if male or female.

V3  hasnt been seen since Sept 16.
Two males were at the nest, one had battle wounds on his talons.  They must have been fighting offcam.  Perhaps chased V3 off.  I'd say mating season has begun.

Gabby and A1 spent the night in the nest tree.
About 6.30 am they vocalized - and they SANG .. and they SANG!
Clearly Gabby likes A1 a lot!

Mods have designated the 2 new males as A1 and A2 (adult).

A1 has the war feet with scars.
My guess is he chased V3 off. Perhaps they fought.

Mods have not decided if A2 is male or female.

From about 10:33 pm - 1:59 am, A1 lays and sleeps (off-and-on) IN the nest!

Lots more singing this morning!

Gabby is totally smitten with A1.
I am delighted we have a healthy new male.
Mods say Gabby is 9 years old and A1 is between 5 and 7.

These 2 sing full songs together.

 V3 is back - with his awful squeeky voice. :egg18:
I much prefer the florious A1 - but it will be Gabby's choice.

As of 8 am today, V3 returned without Gabby.
So far I have not seen Gabby - or A1

Sept 28 dawn
No Gabby at the nest since Sonday, Sept  24th when she and A1 sang to the dawn.

She's been seen in LY tree

bcaw has lots of very good images of the visitors.

Mods banned me because I called A3 A3
A3 came 3 times 9/28 so I called him 9/28 - and they deleted my post.

They wont allow any male but V3 which is pure evil.
I dont think Gabby's chosen V3 as her mate.
She really loved A1 but I havent seen him again.

Mods are totally ruining NE FL chat

7 am An eagle arrivs on cam 4 vocalizing.
After a couple minutes in nest he flew up onto cam 2.
Cam ops are calling it Gabby.  Tail looks shorter than hers.
Does not act like Gabby at all.

8 am  Mod FINALLY admits this is A2.
They need to hire mods that know eagles.

Shortly after 9 am A2 came into nest10
Gabby showed up - he left nest ( mods call him a female )
They vocalize

10 am  Mod reaalizes there are  3 eagles around

1.30 pm  Eagle in nest, cam 2, 4 only a couple minutes and gone.

5 pm  Mods FINALLY named A3 - A3
ugh

October 1, 2023  pouring rain again.
Pre-dawn Gabby perched, cam 1, 2 - soaking wet

OK, I am the only one disappointed, but I'll accept V3 by egg time.
The whole chatroom was obnoxiously happy.
