GONE
May 22, 2021
Yesterday Both crossed the curb to the far side out of cam sight.
They never returned to the nest overnite.
This is the first year I've seen the kids gone this soon

One chick ran into cam view briefly this morning early.
I see they found their wings - she can cross the curb instead of walking around it

Parent fed her under the bridge - outside nest

Getting up on that bridge is their next milestone.

One chick up on doorstep - another milestone
Chances are high he will jump up on top of that bridge next -
maybe today or tomorrow

SKY DANCER
June 4, 2021
11.30 am  June 3  one mounted the bridge and danced his heart out up there!  I wanted to SEE it myself but didnt.  I am watching too many cams!  I rewound, one may have spent the night on the other side of bridge. There is a ledge there kids sometimes sleep on.

Other years the chicks scare us by laying out of sight on the other sisde of the bridge. A couple juvies have landed on a balcony below and been fine, returned to the nest. Clearly one can fly enuf to save its life - after all -

THEY ARE FALCONS!
THEY LIVE on CLIFFS!

Just looking video
Sky Dancer flapping like a helicopter about to take off!  :D
