Sorry Beakers, it was another Whatta Day.
I hope you all are well. Good news Aly arrived in Medford this afternoon.
A few glitches on the way but she and Dewey arrived.  :) The movers on Wednesday was a nightmare,
and I'm afraid Mike lost his temper. It did not go well. Our community security
showed up and escorted the movers out when everything was agreed to. I'll share more of that tomorrow.

We had an unexpected early birthday dinner for Shannon tonight. She was going to be gone
for a long weekend and wanted a family dinner tonight. I made a Strawberrry Ice Box Cake before
I went to bed Wednesday night. It was nice to see her and get caught up. We didn't share Wednesday's drama with Shannon, just a short version.
We just wanted to enjoy her time with us. We had steaks, potato salad, stuffed eggs, Caesar Salad, corn on cob, all her favorites. And the Strawberry ice box cake.
We didn't sleep well Weds. night. After I did tonight's dishes etc., I sat at my desk to check on the Beak room and fell asleep... sorry  :-[

I'll say good night and pray all is well for our Beakers and their families (including fur babies)

Good night!

OH LANI   Sorry to hear about the disruption with the movers but on the plus side Aly is there safe and sound.  Not surprised about glitches as it was a long trip.  Hope things will get back to calmness today. (((LANI)))  Happy birthday to Shannon  :)

Good Morning ...

Currently  67 F  and  High 91F sunny, Low 62F  clear.

T40 the all knowing library Card Catalog. Telephone directory a primative search engine that's still around in paper form.

E4E  the stripes in Barbie's slack are a gray-ish blue,  I actually have that outfit in a zip-lock bag on a clip hanger.
As I do with the other 50+ outfits for her and Ken. ::)

Lisa the artificial shrubbery I found was on Amazon. This is what I've been
 buying  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LH1CCB6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Tsk  my first Barbie was a Christmas gift from Larry and Dan. I was about 7yrs.I recall as Larry was due to ship to USAF basic training in Lackland AFB. Then to Viet Nam.    Dan was a senior in high school and still at home. But had signed with USAF and legally property of the US government as is all military.

Karen How's your little finch doing on her nest? Paulie in Cheers has inquired about you, Tsk and Lani. I kept it all 'simple'.

{{{Lani}}} so glad Aly arrived in Medford safely.  Happy Birthday to Shannon.

OG thanks for the Q-Kids

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, I am so sorry to hear that yesterday didn't go well, I hope today is better for you and Mike. Glad to hear that Aly and Dewey made it to Medford! And it sounds like you had a good Birthday dinner with Shannon! Her birthday is tomorrow, right?  I am dreaming of your Strawberry Ice Box Cake, yum! I love anything strawberry!  The Tillamook Oregon Strawberry ice cream is my favorite!

oldguy, thanks for the Midnight Special, I had forgotten all about that show! Ann Murray's Snowbird, haven't heard that in decades! Steve Martin looks like he is about 20!We have had good rain here, more than an inch for sure, maybe close to two!

E4E, nothing to be sorry for, Kelsey is Kelsey! Talon and Bella are staying with Sydney's Mom and Stepdad while they are on the cruise, they are used to overnights there, and I don't think Ed and I could handle a full time week of them! Bella wore Papa out in just a few hours yesterday!

T40, I remember that search engine!  The kids today have no idea how hard life used to be!   ;D ;D

tsk, for some reason I would imagine you were right at home with the Dewey Decimal System!

Phyl, Bandit, DH2 and the GSB Quads are all looking great!  Love the felted kitty with his puppy...so sweet! And those Puffins, looks like they are calling a meeting!I remember playing with our Barbies on the patio when we were stationed at Luke AFB in AZ, Concrete patio, hot...we didn't notice or care!

Had to share. 5 Doors + 2 Pallets = Bliss

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

SEDs to all...
You totally blew my memories and my day's/night/morning schedule OldGuy  The Lady had talent; the Lady had a story that she found away to talk about.  And I've got a whole lot of catching up to do.  Not only your "find" but I found some more treasures to enjoy.

70's were the best - Super memories of fun.  Good time to have chance to go through the story.  No one here to complain - all the volume I wanted.  Not that he'd complain - but Ton was a Sinatra person.
