LANI   Sounds like some good progression with the wasp problem

PHYL   Good timing on greasy foods - Our store has bacon on sale for $3.99/lb  ;D  It's on my list.  Like your menu celebration.  Loved those two woodpeckers. 365   Amy's blog - the stick tango dance was so funny as they all are.  Gorgeous sandhills and solitary eagle.

Good Morning Beakers!

   

It's good to be back home! Had a wonderful time with my sisters and Mom, also had several visits with my niece and her family! The weather was nice, not HOT like I thought it would be. We went to one of my great nephew's baseball games, had a cookout for Cathy's birthday, some shopping trips and lots of talking! The traffic was bad, just to get to the grocery store! I could never live with all that! I was so tired when I got home I took a long nap! Kelsey (and Ed) was waiting for me at the bottom of the escalator, that is what she loves to do when we meet someone at the airport! And she loves her new Dallas hoodie and tee shirt! I haven't edited and saved pictures yet... Thank you all for the Anniversary Wishes!

Phyl, wow, the black eaglet has grown! Becoming very beautiful! I guess they are not naming them now?  Good news on Amy's blog, there always has to be a wonky stick dance! Great 365, love the dead tree with all the feeding stations.  We are to get to 72 today, rain starting tonight, 72 and rainy tomorrow and then temps plummet...

Lani, sounds like you made a big dent in the yellowjacket issue! I was wondering how you knew if you got the queen or not. I am guessing she stays in the nest so you have to actually get to the nest to get her, she won't come to an outside trap... cute little pumpkin with the little ghosties floating out!

E4E, yes, I made it home without incident!  Even had an empty middle seat next to me on the plane, which is not usually the case!

karen, I will post a few pictures later, haven't gone through them yet. I bet I got over a hundred texts from Kelsey while I was gone, and she wanted pictures of this and that so I took a lot, almost all just of all of us and Cathy's house!

tsk, funny story about Tim and the color of your eyes and hair...LOLOL! We have the gutter guards on our gutters and they work beautifully! And we have several big trees, our front and back yards will be covered constantly.

Lisa, love the pic of Sydney, she is so very sweet and also beautiful! Her eyes look very dark, I am surprised to hear that they are blue! Whatever they are, they are beautiful!

CLYNN  Your trip sounds amazing and what a wonderful time for Mom that all of you could get together.  How cute with Kelsey waiting for you  :-*  Interesting about the leaves and not picking all of them up.  We try to get most of them in the gardens and then let the spring clean up landscaper blow them all out  LOL

Just got this message from Camper's daughter:

I wanted to let all y’all know Zeus has crossed the rainbow bridge. This past week he has progressively gotten worse. He went on 3 yrs after they said he would not last 2 months. He had the best morning. Went on a walk, got snuggles. He dined on chicken and eggs, much to his delight this week. I know y'all loved him. I held him when he passed. He felt loved.
