Video: Challenger Soars at Jackson Dinsdale Art Center Dedication Ceremony - August 20, 2016

Published on Aug 22, 2016

On August 20th, 2016, the American Eagle Foundation had the honor of flying Challenger the Eagle at the Jackson Dinsdale Art Center dedication ceremony at Hastings College in Nebraska. This art center was built in honor of a very special young man who passed away in 2014 while studying in the art program. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Jackson Dinsdale we thank them for allowing us to be a part of the legacy of this school.

During the second half of the video, we've included some fun B-roll from our travels...including riding on a private jet, graciously provided by the generous and kind Dinsdale family who didn't want to AEF driving 12+ hours to and from airports, and giving a school program to Barr Elementary school in Grand Island, Nebraska.

"In response to commenters who expressed concerns about negative impacts to birds and other wildlife, the FAA emphasizes that this rule does not authorize the harassment, harming, or killing of birds, mammals, or ocean-dwelling animals. These types of actions are prohibited by other laws and regulations such as the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (see 16 U.S.C. 703; 50 CFR part 21), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), and the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA). The FAA emphasizes that in addition to satisfying the provisions of this rule, remote pilots of a small UAS will remain subject to all applicable laws, including environmental and wildlife laws."
