http://www.ustream.tv/channel/brieaglcam  Cam 1

I was so surprised when I checked here this morning to find Mom and Dad Eagle on the nest, guess they are doing what our Mom and Dad Decorah Eagles are doing. Thought someone might like to take a peek. they haven't had much luck in the past few years but hopefully this upcoming season will be different.

The Weather Gods have not been kind to them.
Difficult in best conditions, but almost impossible with what they have been experiencing. I am SO glad they are hanging in there!

Do you know where in Maine this cam is?  I'm excited to find a cam nearby.  Thanks.

The phone number they list is in FL which is probably the main offices of NextEra Energy. I was able to find three plants in Maine. One is  located in Yarmouth, Maine, on Cousins Island in Casco Bay along the coast of
Maine. Possibly that one. There is another near Yarmouth and one quite inland.

Check out the information at BRI at

This cam is offline currently and I have posted it on the BriEagle forum. Hopefully it will be up and running soon.

I was glad to read on SS that the Maine cam is up and running again. It's really windy there this morning, as we are having a wild weather day.  Didn't see Mom or Dad but I'll keep checking in.

When I looked in on this bri nest, there was an eagle on it, but looked like a juvie or very, very young adult.  Tail was dark, and head was only partially white.  Is this one of the mates?

I was glad to see that there was an adult pair at the nest this morning. They were bringing in sticks and arranging. I wish I could learn more about this nest, I haven't joined SS but I saw that someone was talking about last year there was a terrible fight with an intruder Eagle and finally the egg/s were abandoned, not sure if this is true but guess there hasn't been any babies here for sometime now. Maybe this year things will go better hopefully. Anyone know any of the history of this nest? This is Maine cam 1.

Alice posted a link early in this thread which give some info about the nests.  I haven't taken a lot of time to look at it, but it looks like it will be helpful.

Thanks priscillash, living in Maine I do try to sneak a peak now and then, I haven't caught anyone on the nest for awhile now, guess they usually lay their eggs in these nests sometime in the first of March, so maybe then we will see more of them!
