Rub your dog the right way
To relieve stress and tension, many people choose a weekly or monthly massage. Often with injuries, massage is prescribed as part of physical therapy to help regain range of motion and use of specific body areas.
Benefits of therapeutic massage for dogs are similar to the benefits for people: reduced pain, improved sleep, reduced anxiety/stress, reduced tight muscles/spasms and improved circulation. If it works for people, why not for our dogs?
My cat Jack loves his massages. Every morning he lies down in front of my husband and before he has his coffee and breakfast, he has to massage him. Jack absolutely loves it and looks forward to it everyday!! So sweet. |
