Thanks for the photo dt; stay safe.  I'm in Greeley, CO - according to the last weather guess I read, there may be 12 - 22" along the front range.  We are to be on the lower end of that, hopefully.

Just a pic from today showing snow, but not a whole lot, and a bit of a melt where maybe someone settled in briefly during the night??  But, hoping to be seeing at least footprints in the snow later on tonight.

Patie----I don't think anyone is getting the nest at the Valmont site----all I can see is at the main RRP nest cams---which are interval still shots-----I'm still hoping for Valmont to be consistant with their dailies, streaming, all of these things..................

Well I will be a blue nosed gofer, look at the pic patis commented on.  Somebody at Valmont must have special powers to observe that since Jan. 23.  I caught this one early from the RRP cam.

January 23 2012

The Valmont Owl Cam new color camera and microphone are installed. The female great horned owl has been in the next box for several days and appears to be close to laying her first egg.   I don't think the pic came out so here is mine

I understand a color cam and mic have been installed, I was wondering if anyone knows when the live feed will be up and running?
I see where owl visited in the snow during the night.
Looking forward to new clutch hopefully soon!

If my hair wasn't already white( I call it silver), I would go grey.. Very frustrating  trying to catch our favorite owls... oosh..and that snow looks soooo cold, but it is getting laying time...we need our  cams to watch ...

Hey---Diane---glad to "see" you.
For me, the dailies began about 4:00 am, and are still working----have more hours later in the night to get rid of the "dreaded X"---but, right now, they're ok for me.  Still hoping for live feed------but, better than nothing.
