The quality of the picture this year is amazing. Don't give up too soon. It takes a long time to load but it's worth every minute you wait. And the operator zooms in and pans the area. Winter just got a whole lot shorter.

Just installed the latest Adobe Flash update and got on right away. Hope it wasn't a coincidence. Love all the questions from students watching in their classrooms. Lots of future birders developing a love of feathered creatures.

This pair have been mating several times a day, and since Sunday morning all the watchers have eagerly watched the female squat nearly motionless in the nest for an hour or more. Surely an egg is imminent! She's been teasing us, though. She then gets up and flits over to the branch, the male comes in to keep her company, and we all sit back and realize we haven't been breathing for an hour. Sigh. Got a couple of clips today of nice zooming and panning by the cam operator. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqczMDmYYWchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qGeceBtVXY

Dad comes in to check it out a few minutes later, and she gives him a view, then rolls the egg before beginning her first brooding session. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoQok3NrDqw

Nice close up of the (male) on the nest. Love the way they zoom in.

Egg number 2 just arrived a few minutes ago. I missed it, but I'm sure there will be video on the site.
