Excellent news, Diane. Thanks for posting the link - many of mine have disappeared in the move from watching at work to watching at home.

They do seem a bit indecisive this year...or they're having alot of discussion. I've seen them at both trays lately too.

I have missed the forum today also...Mom and dad are really busy keeping up with 3.....and I guess it will get harder as the babies get a little older...

It's been a long time since this thread has been updated.
From the blog on June 22:
Our five chicks are now officially Mae, Amelia, Rosa, Sally and Melba!
Congratulations to our 2011 falcon-naming contest winner, Becky Mae! Her suggestion was "Five famous women that made a difference in our world today".
Dr. Mae Jemison, Amelia Earhardt, Rosa Parks, Sally Ride, and Melba Pattilo.
Our five females are looking a little less white and a lot darker in their adolescent feathers! It's amazing how quickly they grow!
Live streaming video was added to the options on the site.
This afternoon the chicks were spending time on the ledge; they are close to fledging. Mom Hera supervised.

Thank you, Alison. It is so easy to watch and be aware of their rapid growth, but still it is just... Geeze! Each year I go through this! You would think I would adjust. Guess not. The Annual Wonder is Great!

Thanks Alison - with so many cams now, it's hard to keep up. The names are great. I just looked at the cam, and see the nest box is empty. Hope they all fledged without a problem.

Meant to post this before; one of the juvies, Melba, has been in rehab and was recently released. From the blog: Melba's Back!
Melba, one of the five female falcon chicks born this year and named after Melba Pattillo Beals, (a journalist and member of the Little Rock Nine, a group of African-American students who were the first to integrate Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas), was released today after a couple weeks of rehab.
Seems she hit one of Omaha's downtown buildings located next to the Woodmen Tower, and was knocked unconscious. If you look closely, you can see the scar she has on top of her nose. Raptor Recovery Nebraska's Denise Lewis has been taking care of her and was there to release her from the roof of the Woodmen Tower. "She took right off and circled the building a couple of times," said Lewis. Denise was pleased with her flying and thinks she will be okay now.
Keep checking the camera, maybe you can get a glimpse of Melba sometime soon. She is a beautiful juvie: Hera was at the nest last night: http://woodmen.typepad.com/falconwatch/#tp
