The poor guy is still at it  Cheesy  I think he's doing a little better than yesterday though.  He had it up out of the hole and then backed up with it as it rolled down in.  He ended up getting it back out and sat with it next to him for a couple minutes....

...and then he tried again.  After this effort he left for a while.

Kris, it's one egg.  I'm estimating sometime tomorrow if Belinda follows the "norm" being she had it yesterday morning.  We're not going to have to worry about this egg being turned enough either, Brent was in there about 10 to 5 and was moving it all over the place before he left.  I hope it's ok, Belinda sure hasn't been in there.

This is some of what Brent does to that egg on his trips in and out.  He tries to hold it from rolling, or rolls it with his foot.  If that poor little guy hatches he's going to be reeling all over the nestbox.

Now it looks as if Brent will have another egg to worry about.  Linda

I'm confused.  Why are we seeing 2 eggs in the stills, but the live cam only shows 1?   Huh

OMG!   Shocked   I just saw the answer to my question, and in full screen!   Shocked  I just saw her lay the egg!   Shocked  The video feed isn't live as I thought.

This is going to be a good day!   Grin

Yes Diane, the live one runs about an hour behind the stills.  I caught in on video and it's processing.  Once it's able to be viewed I'll post the link  Cheesy

Ok, here we go!

In the first part Brent approached the nestbox, but decided it really wouldn't be a good idea to go in there.  Belinda backed up for a good poop and then went back to pushing...

Push girl, you can do it!  She did!

After spending some time on the egg Belinda came out for some sun and decided to come out into the bigger world....

It didn't last long though, Brent decided to go stand by the egg he messed with all day yesterday, Belinda came tearing in and stood by the new egg, and Brent got chased out of there.  She then tucked the new egg under with the first egg and settled in for a while.

Ok, I've been playing around with another free video program I heard about.  I really should try the settings in CamStudio, but here is a test run I made this evening of Brent still trying.  He insists on pulling the eggs out of the hole.  Anyway, I thought after uploading this it was clearer than the other videos.  This was using AviScreen.

Brent really seems to like 'playing' with the eggs!

Oh Nora, thanks so much for trying a new video programme.  I can actually view that last one.  I could not get a clear 'stream' with the others.  That Brent is hysterical.  Maybe he thinks the scrape is a bowling alley!  Veronica

Three eggs for Belinda? It's a little difficult to see the eggs, but I think there are three.
