When it got to dark to see anymore she was still there.  Now the wait until morning to see if she was just staying because of the crappy weather of if she was staying over the scrape in preparation.   Wink

Oh, the video runs about an hour behind what we see on the still versions.

YES!!!!  Way to go Belinda!  I wish it got light just a smidge earlier.  I'm trying to figure out in the first one if she's pushing or standing over it.  The second one she's standing over it.

And the new dad.....

Have you noticed how the dads make such a project out of getting an egg covered and this is only one!  Cheesy

Ok, this is sort of long, but it was his second time of covering it up.  Like I said, a bit long, but I was laughing watching him, he had that egg all over. Cheesy

Congratulations Belinda and Brent; thanks for the videos, Nora. It's great fun to see Brent being a new dad and doing this for the first time! It exhausted me to watch his maneuvers in that second one! Linda

This is the last one, but if you think that one was a lot of effort, I really hope he gets this figured out before the second eggs comes!  He roll it up to him and once he let go of it, it would roll back down in the hole and he'd fish it back out.  He kept doing that until he finally maneuvered over it.

Brent is WAY too interested in that egg.  They had quite a discussion before Brent let Belinda have the egg back, and as soon as she left he was right back in there standing by it, lying on it, and was even pushing like when they do the scrape with his feet coming out behind him.  I sure hope he doesn't wreck that egg!

The Standoff........(goes with the picture Allison posted above)

I see what you mean about Brent in the video, Nora! I hope he settles down a bit with his very first egg.

The little egg is having its first night.  It spent part of the evening all alone, then dad with mom right behind him came back.  Dad wanted to stay, but mom won out and will keep it warm.
