CCB, Center of Conservation and Biology, will have a new eagle cam on USTREAM this Sunday, Jan. 15th

http://www.ustream.tv/richmondeagles

Nest Location: This breeding territory is located in Richmond, Virginia on the James River along the fall line where the river is shallow and flows over rapids. The birds forage along this stretch of river within intermittent pools and rapids. The nest constructed in 2001 was built in a solid top crotch, approximately 90 feet up in an isolated loblolly pine.

All's good in the cottonwood.

All's jolly in the loblolly?

Both of the eagles were on the nest 10 minutes ago.  The male left and the female ate a fish!!  Lots of activity for the first live day.
