It's good to see a visitor to the nest today; the nest has been conspicuously empty recently.

Nice catch! I was checking last year's nesting calendar and egg-laying here started on April 6. Five months away....and season will actually start earlier. We'll be doing river falcon surveys in just four months! I'll think about that when the weather hits -20 up here.

From an Internet cafe, since I can no longer post on the forum from anywhere else. Mandy Rose at the nest today:

From the Internet cafe: one very tired falcon.

I really like these photos of Mandy Rose; she looks as if she is smiling, and she also has a very full crop.

While looking at all the pix, finally a word came to mind to describe the face of this beauty. Serene.

Great to see Mandy Rose.  I think she has a sly smile.

You may have seen this elsewhere on the site. I got all these added to our viewer and I think all the links are fixed.

http://www.farmyou.com/falcon_cams/index.html
Click the Black Dog Plant link at left once you get to that page, if you view here.

Mandy Rose is a very well-behaved falcon and I like the description of serene! If a falcon can be serene, she is.
