Boy, depending on where they sit on the perch you'd think no one was home.  I caught the first two earlier this afternoon and the last one he Huh was just there for one refresh.  Nora

Nora, yesterday I posted your second photo from today.  If you can enlarge this photo, you can get a partial read on the band.  The top band number or digit is either a O or 0.   I use the enlarge option in the right lower corner of my XP (click on 100% or the arrow next to it).

I went to Black Dog again today.  The male was on the tower, keeping an eye on the box, where the female was sitting.  The male had a band on his right leg.  It looked like the female had one on her leg too.

I've no idea who this is but in some other frames from this morning, the facial shots sure have that 'Nora' attitude and I don't see a band on the right leg, but then I have wonky eyes.  Veronica

It's great to see you posting again, Veronica. I agree that in some pics this bird looks somewhat like Nora, but from other angles she looks quite different. In other pics I have seen, I am pretty sure that she has bands on both legs. I wish it were Nora . . .

In the third pic below, the bird resembles Nora, but in the next frame you can see it isn't her.

She (?) was there early this morning, visited during the day, and returned in the evening.

She left early this morning, and returned later with a full crop.

I remember reading somewhere that both "O" and "0" were not used on bands, to avoid confusion, and that only "0" is used. Perhaps someone can corrrect me if this is not so. If it is a zero, I found about two dozen possibilities in a search. If there is another character beside the "0", of course, there are many more possible matches.

She (?) apparently spent the night, and was visible early this morning. She left after the first pic, and came back for a brief visit around noon.
